It is important to get along with your wedding photographer, as you will be spending a fair bit of with them on your wedding day, and an awkward or cold relationship won't put you at ease in front of the lens. So here is some more information about me so you can decide if I sound like a good fit, or if you want to run for the hills.
I like to keep it natural. I look to capture genuine emotions; delirious laughter, happy tears, wide smiles. I will tell the story of your wedding day in pictures; from the first moments nervously getting ready, to your first kiss as a married couple, to everyone having a blast on the dance floor. I take a relaxed approach which allows you and your guests to feel comfortable and enjoy your special day!
Wedding photography is a big investment, and can take up a significant proportion of your wedding budget. It is also one of the things that you will always have as mementos of your big day. So I know how important it is to get it right. I aim to help you with this through simple, inclusive packages and a range of options add-ons to enable you to customise your package to suit you.
Travel is included within 50 miles of London SW6 and Somerset TA11. But if you're getting married outside these areas I'd still love to photograph your wedding and I'm happy to travel for the cost of fuel (the first 50 miles is always free). Just get in touch and we can discuss your requirements. I would also LOVE to cover your destination wedding, so if you're tying the knot abroad (lucky you!) do ask me for a quote.
When you're looking for a wedding photographer, it can be hard to know where to begin, and a lot of the terminology can be very alien. So when I say that I'm a documentary wedding photographer, what exactly do I mean, and how does it translate to how I approach your wedding day? It means, in short, that I'm a storyteller.

Genevieve is a lovely person and a wonderful photographer of events. I put a call out online for a photographer and the tone of her pictures caught my eye (I am no expert!), also her mini pitch showed thoughtfulness, which I really liked, i.e. she had looked up the venue and had some initial ideas and thoughts that she'd shared, this made a big difference in a sea of 'I am free, here are my pictures, here are my rates' (nothing wrong with that though if it works). Genevieve was lovely to deal with in the planning stage, always available to chat or email about ideas, she was polite, positive, proactive

Hi had genevieve do our photography of our wedding 20th july2019.We love the natural pictures she captured& how everyone was relaxed& happy thanks to genevieve who captured that& also few funny ones! But all the photos look natural & we were both amazed with our wedding photography .would recomend & would not be dissapointed with queen bea photography!

Genevieve came to photograph our small summer wedding in 2019. She was fantastic the whole day, taking so many pictures without intruding at all - it felt like she was a friend and guest at our wedding! The pictures are all fantastic and Genevieve has been very helpful and accommodating throughout. Cannot recommend her enough!
