Services
If you have never ridden a motorcycle before, this course will take you right from the start. You do, however, need to be able to ride a bicycle and have a good knowledge of the Highway Code. CBT is not a test and there is no exam - it is a course of training you are required to complete satisfactorily.
Below you can find a selection of testimonials from past Motopass students. Many of our students had no previous riding experience before training with us, whilst others came to us with their CBT certificate after being dissatisfied with other local motorbike training schools. Me and my dad both found Dave easy to understand and he knows exactly how to put you right if you are doing anything wrong.
Close to Thorne, Doncaster and Scunthorpe, we are easy to find - just a 2 minute drive from the A18 (Thorne to Scunthorpe road) and 10 minutes from the M18, J5. There is plenty of street parking available and you can leave your vehicle whilst you are out training. A1,A 2 and Direct Access training is undertaken in and around the motorcycle test centre in Scunthorpe.

I recently passed my mod 1 and mod 2 with Dave’s tuition. I’d had some lessons with a different instructor last year, But had to stop due to covid. I called Dave. He swiftly booked my tests and gave me dates to start my intensive course. I would highly recommend Dave, his experience and patience got me through my mod 1 and 2 first time

Well what can I say, you cannot beat experience and keeping things simple. After initially taking a CBT with Dave I took mod 1 with another school and was probably better taking it with motopass. I have now passed mod 2 with Dave`s help and even though I panicked a little during training (first time on big bike) Dave knew exactly how to calm me down and get the job done. Fantastic instructor and highly recommended.

Dave was recommended to me last year and I've just passed my CBT, Mod1 and Mod2 with him through a 5 day course after never riding a bike above 50cc before.. He's very patient and definitley knows his stuff, will give you the best advice through the course and has all the gear and bikes that you need to get your full bike license passed.

Dave is a top instructor and more importantly a very friendly helpful guy. Me and a friend did the weeks course, passed cbt on Saturday, mod 1 on Tuesday and mod 2 today (Friday) and we couldn’t have done it without Dave. I would highly recommend him, it was money very well spent! Thanks a lot Dave!

Dave is extremely knowledgeable and professional. If you listen closely to everything he says, you will pass first time like I did. The direct access course was great for me. Passed both MOD 1 and MOD 2 on the same day. Came highly recommended to me by numerous friends and family and they were not wrong.
