The most important aspect to begin the guitar is having an instrument to play on, when starting out it really does not matter what type of guitar you play. Essentially there are only three types of guitar. A hollow bodied guitar with 6 nylon Strings and a short wide neck, typically 12 reachable frets.
Hi, I'm Tom Elliot and welcome to Leeds Guitar Lessons. As well as teaching from my studio, I also offer online guitar lessons for those people that might not be able to get to my studio due to other lifes commitments. I teach people with no experience of playing the guitar and people that have lots of experience but wish to learn more.
The following 3 stages are a guide to the learning Curriculum that is used to develop a student from having no musical experience to becoming an advanced intermediate musician. The structure is flexible and supports the majority of guitar styles that an individual wants to learn, responding to the musical direction they want to take and achieve.
