We've been running John Henry's Catering Company, as a husband and wife team, for over 15 years. Like most businesses we started small, operating a pretty basic unit that we towed by car to local events such as fetes and car boot sales: our invaluable apprenticeship.
One day, someone must have particularly enjoyed our chips, a burger or a cup of tea (pretty much all we served in those days!), because out of the blue we were invited to take a sought after pitch at the massive Ford Sunday Market, in West Sussex.This was a great opportunity that also provided us with a source of regular income - which we ploughed back into the business, continually upgrading our equipment.

Our menu offers a wide variety of delicious high quality foods and drinks, many of which are organic and Fairtrade: just part of our commitment to being a responsible, green business. We satisfy hungry guests at lots of different types of event, from fetes to family fun days, and from large music festivals to small private parties.
Naturally, our units have appropriate HACCP documentation, so they meet all current Food Standards Authority hygiene legislation. As a family business we set our own exacting standards, which often far exceed any statutory requirements. And we pride ourselves on kitchen cleanliness, food quality and the presentation of both our trailers and staff.
What type of events do you attend? We're booked for many, many different types of events and we cater for small groups of guests up to large crowds, so we're definitely prepared for whatever you have in mind. And we bring in experienced additional staff if required. What food and drink do you generally serve?
