Stay with us for the duration of your walk, let us arrange to get you to and from the start and end of each section, and stay for FREE on your last night! We have a choice of packages available, very much depending on duration, ability or just personal preferences, from 5 to 7 nights. Additional nights can be added and we would be delighted to discuss any itinerary and work with you to create the perfect vacation for you.
The landscape of the Scottish Borders varies from west to east. From the rolling hills in the west and beautiful St Marys Loch, the rural character of the central Borders to the east coast where the North Sea crashes the jagged coastline. The world famous River Tweed crosses the entire area of the Scottish Borders flowing gradually to the east into the North Sea at Berwick upon Tweed.
Having undergone a recent refurbishment, the new Temple Bar and Restaurant provides the perfect setting for many different occasions, whether it is meeting friends for drinks, to enjoy a scrumptious top-notch dining experience or simply to relax with a coffee overlooking the beautiful garden and out to the fields beyond.
Pop in for a casual coffee and cake anytime from 12pm throughout the day until 6pm or enjoy our Chef's Afternoon Tea* - with Prosecco for that extra treat. It consists of a selection of finger sandwiches, freshly made scones with jam and cream and a selection of sweet treats, all accompanied by your choice of tea or coffee supplied by Brodies.

Great stay. Very spacious and clean room. Tea and treats available in room. Staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was great for both evening meal and breakfast. Bar and lounge available in hotel with special offers for walkers on the St. Cuthberts Way trail! This is the place to stay in Morebattle!!

A small but comfortable room. The best thing is the beer garden which is at the side of a field filled with birds and rabbits. We spent more time watching the wildlife thank talking!
One word of caution, there is a very large selection for breakfast, however, if you choose not to have items your breakfast will come up a little small. My breakfast was fab but my husband didn't want a couple of items so had almost a child's portion....
