Lovely decor and attentive staff but the food was awful. Had the nut roast which was more of a sloppy Mexican with the burrito flavour as well?. Potatoes ok but unfortunately cheesy cauliflower came out cold in the middle - sent it back and they microwaved and gave back. The staff were wonderful but I wouldn’t say they are the place for a roast.

Not great! Went for friend’s birthday. Firstly they asked for £20 deposit for each person for a Tuesday night. The restaurant had only about 3 tables occupied when we arrived. Some food wasn’t available. Literally an hour later they told us we can’t have dessert cause the chef was going home and we couldn’t have coffee cause the machine was broken and by 9.40pm we were asked to pay up cause they want to go home. Ridiculous!

Modern decor in main dining area, large conservatory area and several private booths (outside, but heated) . Also a private dining room for hire. Food was good and menu quite large. Price of food was very reasonable. Car park is busy and fairly small but there is a lovely man who seems to magically accommodate everyone. Worth a visit.

Thought we were just popping out for a bit of dinner and ended up having a fabulous night out. The staff were good, especially Elise (sorry if I've spelt it wrong). A lovely young man for whom nothing was too much trouble. The music was fab. The outdoor marquee setting was gorgeous. The food was delicious and the table magician was such a lovely surprise. A top night was had.

Walked in with a roll of tarmac. Two pints please. One for me and one for the road. This is a gastropub. A bit fancy. Wouldn't even call it a pub. The bar area is the size of a dinner table with a large restaurant attached to it. Friendly wait staff.
Excellent pan fried sea bass. Served with spinach, potatoes and cream white wine sauce. It's all in the sauce. The make or break component. Not enough sauce friend. Why do restaurants do this to us? Less is not more. More is more.
Asked if the camembert appetizer has nuts in it? Was told yes, there is garlic in there. Awkward paus ensues

I cannot beleve they can charge £75 for a room at this place, the food was terrible, the room was small, miserable, and boring, and the manager was a nightmare!
I will NEVER visit this place again, I would rather spend twice the amount, and stay elsewhere. I have never met such a miserable person as the depressing 'manager' that runs this place. Swift changes needed, bosses informed.
