Top Meadow Golf Club is a member of both the Essex County Amateur Golf Union (ECAGU) and the English Golf Union (EGU). Our Club boasts 18 holes, a modern and elegant club house and restaurant, hotel, conference rooms and function suite facilities ideal for weddings or business meetings and all kinds of celebrations.
Top Meadow is a delightful 18 hole golf course set in the centre of the Essex Countryside. Established in 1985 the golf course has matured to a great parkland course. All standards of golfers from professionals to casual golfers will enjoy a round of golf here. The golf course consists of 18 Holes with mature tree and water hazards making an interesting and challenging round.
This membership gives access to the Golf Course 7 days a week (after 12pm on a Saturday or Sunday unless playing with a full paying member.) This membership is available to our current members who are 65 and over and have been on the waiting list. When a space is available you will be contacted. Please call 01708 859545 to reserve a Tee Time, members can call to book a Tee Time 10 days in advance for 7am.
Organising a professional golf day is sometimes no fun and most of your day is spent writing score cards out and working the results out at the end of the day. Top Meadows Golf Club result service takes this responsibility away from you and allows you to relax and enjoy the day along with your fellow companions.
Our on site PGA Golf Professional James Sharp has been teaching for 13 years turning professional in 2002. James worked his apprenticeship at Castle Point Golf Club becoming a fully qualified PGA Professional. James currently holds the position of Head Professional at Top Meadow Golf Club. His lessons are very popular with members and non members; James is also very involved in the teaching our junior section.

I can't review the golf club side of Top Meadow, but it does look like a lovely place to play golf. However, My family had booked a table at the restaurant for a rare get together on the occasion of my mothers 80th birthday. .
On arrival I wasn't really too impressed with the cramped seating arrangement around our table, or the close proximity of the other tables, but it was my mothers 80th birthday and we all wanted her to enjoy her night as she had been looking forward to this for many months. I am not actually reviewing the golf club here but more the wedding facilitys. We had our wedding here in May this year and we couldnt have asked for a nicer day. Apart from the weathe being fantastic the day was made beautiful by the staff at Top Meadows. The day went 100% to plan and was so chep compared to other places we had viewed. The man who ran it had so much time for us and made sure we had everything we needed to make the day go swimmingly. The food was magnificent and everybody commented on how lovely it was. The views were fantastic and we got some great photographs because the views
