Hi, I'm Sarah and I set up Orpington Day Nursery to offer all children excellent care at an affordable price - exactly what I wanted for my son George - the light of my life! I set up my Nursery because as a parent and a fully qualified Nursery Practitioner, I felt that I had a unique insight into what a great facility I could offer.
I trained for my NVQ2 in 2009 and saw a variety of settings that I felt did not offer a high standard of care at an affordable price. Also, I saw many un-happy members of staff as they felt under-valued and this resulted in low morale. Taking all these factors into consideration, I set up Orpington Day Nursery with a view to offering excellent childcare at an affordable and competitive price.

Services
I first visited the nursery when it looked nothing like one and I chose it:- Sarah made ME feel safe and I knew before leaving that my 'C' would love it there and she does. Flexible, ready to help you with anything, friendly staff, bright and colorful Nursery. I struggled to find a nursery in orpington which was bright and airy, and also one which done the hours I needed to work, and finally I found it!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability
I would not recommend this nursery if you have other option as I have bad experience with them. They do not tell you everything regarding the nursery. If you have no other option I would not recommend to give anything in advance as they will engulf your money any way. Best of Luck..

What can I say but it's like they are part of the family! My first son attended the nursery for 4 years until he started school, and my youngest son has been at nursery for just over 2 years. The bond they have with all the staff is fantastic and love all the activities they do with the kids, I love seeing the photos and updates. The home cooked food they get every day is balanced and nutritious. They also have a really great program for early learning to prepare them for school. I'll be sad when my littlest one leaves, maybe I should have another?! :)

All four of our children have attended Orpington day nursery over the past 7 years. Our two youngest still go there and I wouldn’t consider anywhere else to look after my children. The nursery is warm, caring, reliable, and has a home to home feel. They provide educational activities to keep the children entertained and all the food is cooked from scratch to ensure the children eat a healthy varied diet. I cant thank Sarah and the team enough for all their hard work. They have made those first days of settling my children in to a new environment stress free and shown such compassion caring for
