I have had my cut and colour done by Scott and Sarah respectively for years and I’ve always appreciated the great conversation as well as the great service. However the team has gone up even further in my estimations since having a baby. I put off coming into the salon for months because I was worried about the disruption my baby would cause. I needn’t have, Not only was the team welcoming and accommodating but Tina the receptionist comforted the baby while I had my hair done! I was so grateful and cannot recommend them highly enough!

Prior to the Pandemic I brought my then 3 year old granddaughter here for a cut. She had a lovely time being pampered and having a grown up hair cut experience. As she has been staying with me this week I thought it would be good to take her back. So, a couple of weeks ago I popped into the salon and booked an appointment explaining it was for a child and how much she had enjoyed her last visit. I didn't get much response to that. Anyhow myself, granddaughter and her Auntie arrived on time. We were asked by the manager if she would be ok on her own?? I should have been told about that when I booked

First haircut since lockdown and I am so glad that you are back. The service as usual was excellent, the safety measures in place made me feel at ease and not at all worried, despite feeling anxious in public spaces where there are other people around.

Discriminatory unethical business. Despite taking my booking in person the previous week, whilst I was clearly displaying my mask exemption lanyard, the owner of this business refused to allow his staff to cut my hair on the day I came in. When I pointed out that I couldn't wear a mask as it gave me panic attacks, and that in fact I was in the salon the day it happened last year, he shrugged and said 'I dont care, sue me'. Scott is one of the rudest most arrogant men I've ever had the misfortune to encounter in hairdressing and I suggest everyone avoid his business "Bauhaus"

Phoned from outside the salon to see if there was an appointment available..was welcomed in and treated very professionally by Rose. She asked lots of questions and listened really well. Rose really took care and time with my haircut (my hair is not the easiest to work with) even though i was her last client. I am very happy with my graduated bob and i'm all set for Christmas. This is a lovely salon using equally lovely Aveda products. They moved from their original shopfront on St Mary Street just around the corner onto the quieter Bakers Row, which is a better location.
I really like Aveda's weirdly earthy, woody fragrances - and their products are more natural than most used in salons, with up to 95% natural ingredients, according to my stylist. Even the colour is up to 99% naturally derived, so it's less damaging to your hair.
The staff seem to be proud to work here, and the salon itself is a relaxing environment in which to spend an hour or so. Some

I popped in here on Friday because I was in town, my hair was a mess and I noticed a sign outside saying that they had walk in appointments and it looked like a pretty funky sort out place so I decided to take the plunge.
My stylish was great and listened to what I was hoping for and made some suggestions for what would suit my hair type and soon enough she was chopping away. I really liked what she did with it and better still after washing it and doing it myself next day it was still looking good.
Price I think was £32 or £35 which is what I usually pay to have my haircut anyway, so its not

This is all my lovely's opinion relayed here. Though I did have to wait a long time in there with her.
She loved it, she was really happy with the cut and style the hairdresser gave her. That is a pretty big complaint as she loves a moan my lass. Just joking...*Sweating*
But yea, the layout was pretty cool and slighty mod-like. The price is way more than I'd ever pay but madam was happy to pay it and give a tip to the 'very nice lady'. All in all a good trip to the stylists. Phew.

I've always had a morbid fear of hairdressers, and can't remember the last time I've come out of one disappointed. Not with Bauhaus!!
They really listen and spend time working out how you want your style. I did what a lot of hairdressers dread and took a pic of how I wanted my hair to look, and they (Steph) got it absolutely spot on!!!
Great products, with no hard sell, very friendly staff who made me feel welcome and also good aftercare (free fringe trims between cuts etc). So many people have complimented
