We placed a booking for 2 for the 22nd at 20:00 on Thursday the 20th. My partner and I were in a bar and called to see if we could push the table back (thank goodness we called); when they asked for the name, they said they had no booking under my partners name - here is the photo to prove we called and made a booking. Luckily, this saved is the walk and the embarrassment of being turned away.
Very disappointed. Improve your booking system or create an online one.

A £75 bill to feed 5. 4 x different chicken dishes with only minor taste difference between them all, more sugar or more and less coconut ( since when has butter chicken had coconut in it?) So poor mains and average sundries. Have had much better tasting curries from Pataks. Not sure I'll be wasting petrol to drive there again.

Pleasant surroundings and prompt service. I had a chicken dish cooked in spinach and my wife a chicken biryani, which she thought was wonderful. I enjoyed mine, but particularly liked the aloo gobi. Could do with a desert menu of some kind and perhaps a few different beers. Despite its website, this is a traditional curry house, but none the worse for it.
