The conveyancing process is the transfer of ownership of a house from one person to another. I called Focus agency 2 weeks ago about some property for renting. I have been informed that once it is ready for viewing I will be contacted so that the viewing can be arranged. I called again and asked if I can pay the deposit to secure the property. The worker informed me that I cannot as the property has to be viewed first.
I called again today (at 12.47) and asked about the property and have been informed that the property is no longer available as someone has already paid the deposit for it therefore is gone! When I asked why I was not allowed to do it the lady chose to hang up on me.

This company is 25 years old and has removed their old reviews when their rating went down to 1.4 out of 5 because people can not give 0 stars. The oldest review on this new Google listing is from 11 months ago. This agency is nothing but a trauma to deal with and are best avoided like a plague.

It's a home away from home. I shifted to Slough for work purposes away from my home country and I was referred to Focus by my colleagues to give a try. My experience from day 1 has been fantastic with Focus team interms of engagement, tenancy agreement, inventory, payments, inspections etc., For the last 4 long years of my stay (New Square, next to High street), Focus had been very responsive and reasonable for all the maintenance issues and addressed them in best possible way.
