Advance Yacht Systems is a family business, set up in 2005 by Rod Boreham and his wife Caroline, who are both keen sailors. Advance Yacht Systems have carried out many professional installations of generators, watermakers, air conditioning and power systems on a large variety of yachts. Based on the South Coast, our team carry out professional installations to the very highest of standards. With many years experience on a variety of vessels we deliver well thought out installations, optimising use of space and minimising loss of useful storage.
Dessalator marine watermakers are unrivalled for reliability and durability, making them factory options for Beneteau, Discovery, Jeanneau, Oyster, X-Yachts and more. Dessalator Cruise watermakers are available with outputs of 60 and 100 litres per hour. Powered by 230V AC, they are often the preferred choice for yachts that have a generator on board.

I have bought and installed a Paguro 4 KVa from advance, it’s now done over 50,000 miles and still works well. I’ve also installed a 2KW Studer inverter charger which is an excellent piece of kit. In both cases I have had a few issues, user created mostly, and getting hold of spares from Advance, anywhere in the world has been a very easy experience!

I’ve had AYS install a generator and water maker and been delighted with every element from start to finish. Initial advise from Rod, a perfect installation by Wayne, a true craftsman completing an extraordinarily neat and tidy job and aftercare and support by all including Caroline. Such a complete and excellent service is a rare thing nowadays so can’t recommend highly enough. S/y Prettiest Star
