Ferndale is a splendid detached three-storey Victorian house, which has been tastefully modernised to provide superior, caring accommodation. It is situated in Southbourne, Emsworth, near Chichester and is a mile from the sea front. We treat our residents with respect and dignity at all times but this is especially important as they approach the end of their lives.
Our staff are trained to ensure that we offer people the maximum level of independence, choice and control about their care. Our guiding principle is that Ferndale is the residents' home, and their move into residential care should enhance, rather than restrict, their lives. Residents are encouraged to furnish their rooms with personal items and familiar objects.

Services
Ferndale Care Home's aim is to encourage and assist each resident to live as independently as possible and to have a fulfilling life in a comfortable, secure and happy environment. We prepare an individual care plan for each resident, with as much assistance as possible from the resident and their families or representatives.

My mum has been here last 2years. Cant praise them enough for their kindness, expertise, and generally giving my mum the best care possible in her declining state. My mum was really unhappy for the first couple of months, but through their kindness, she soon grew to love it there and she saw the staff as her best friends. No place better
