Oundle Bowling Club
Oundle Bowling Club, located in the historic market town of Oundle and has something to offer players of all ages and abilities. The Club formed over 100 years ago, welcomes new members including those living with a disability to join us and enjoy the great sport of bowls. Our clubhouse extended and completely refurbished in 2020, offers excellent facilities including a large car park, clubroom, bar, and an A* green.

Social activities for members and guests are organised throughout the year. During the outdoor season which runs from April till October, there are outdoor matches and club competitions for competitive players, and for recreational players, weekly bowls drives and casual play. In the winter season, short mat indoor bowling is available in the clubhouse.
Services
We have bowls drives which take place on Friday evenings most weeks during the outdoor season. These are well attended and give new bowlers the opportunity to meet other members and gain experience in the company of more experienced bowlers. Just sign up on the notice board and you will be able to play a triples or fours game.
Our outdoor season finishes at the end of September at which time many members transfer to short mat bowling held in the clubhouse on weekday afternoon and evenings. Mixed short mat friendly match fixtures are also held both at Oundle and away clubs throughout the winter season. Short mat bowling has proved to be very popular with full and associate members and is excellent for socialising with other members.
Oundle Bowling Club welcomes new members of all ages and abilities who wish to take up the sport of bowls. Please ring the Club Secretary on 01832 270312 or the Membership Secretary on 01832 274205. They will arrange for you to come along one afternoon or evening when you can meet other members and have a go.
If you join, a six week coaching course is included in your membership. Coaching is provided by our own qualified instructors and is available to all full & junior members. To book a coaching session, please contact any of our certified coaches who will be pleased to assist you. Their telephone numbers can be found in the current fixture list booklet.
Oundle Bowling Club believes bowls is for everyone, regardless of ability, and we encourage the participation of anyone who is living with a disability to play. Bowlers with a disability can compete with, or against, non-disabled bowlers in most situations. Bowls is one of the most accessible and integrated sports readily available to people of all ages.
