At Yorkshire Powder Coaters we have over 40 years' combined experience in the skilled technique of powder coating. We work to British Standards and take great care to ensure that we meet and exceed customer expectations. Our newly-refurbished premises feature the very latest equipment, including a brand new 6 metre oven, new spray guns and clean, efficient extraction systems.
This makes it the ideal choice for items which are subject to heavy usage such as street furniture, railings, gates, garage doors, automotive parts, shopfittings, wheelchair frames, mobility aids, tables and chairs, CNC machinery parts, conveyors, escalator parts, skips, bins, security barriers. Unlike regular paint, powder coating will not chip or flake and does not need refreshing every couple of years.
Yorkshire Powder Coaters offer a competitively-priced hot dip galvanising service to steel fabricators and direct clients in and around the West Yorkshire area. We provide a quick, efficient and reliable service to BS EN ISO1461 standards, so you can be sure that the end product is of the very best quality, offering a 25 year guarantee against rusting.
Once we receive your items, we'll prepare them by degreasing to remove any soil and grease. Next we'll ensure a good clean surface is achieved by using acid to strip the steel back - a process called 'pickling.' Then, to help with the chemical reaction which occurs during galvanisation, we apply a fluxing solution.
Instead it brings a shining finish to items such as alloy wheels, radiators, gates, car and bike parts, shopfittings etc. We offer our shot blasting service either as a standalone service or as the first stage in our refurbishment service.
