Though always known as a centre of style and fashion, Brighton offered us nowhere to buy the clothes we wanted to wear. So, with no experience and very little money, we opened our first store on the outskirts of Brighton's North Laine. We have since evolved and moved twice until becoming the store you see today.

Situated in the very heart of Brighton, we are located in Duke Street with a view towards the sea down Middle Street, one of Brightons oldest roads. With a rich history, Middle Street has been home to the Hippodrome which saw The Beatles play and the scene of the iconic Bank Holiday brawls between Mods and Rockers.

Mens clothing stores are a rare find in the UK, especially one with some unique and special brands. This 2-Floor shop is a nice exception. Mainly focusing on the higher-class 20 to 45 years old, but certainly also some good for the older ages.
I have no experience with customer service yet, but the help I got was patient, helpful and with good knowledge.

Ordered at 2pm and item arrived next day at 9am. Item came well packaged and in a Peggs & Son Box. Superb Service. Couldn't Recommend More.

These guys are the real deal, such lovely, approachable and professional staff, who know their onions when it comes to clothing.
The boss, Ian, gave me some advice on some YMC trousers which I bought online, and absolutely love.
Delivery was quick and easy, and updated from the courier every step of the way.

I went into this shop earlier and quite honestly I've never known anything or anyone quite as rude as the man who served me! He was completely unecessarily rude and responded to my basic enquiry with the most jaw-dropping condescension I've ever come across. If this is how our high streets are encouraging customers to return, then please avoid Peggs and Son at all costs - people, it's a shocker!

Awful customer service: I wanted to return some Edwin jeans I purchased in-store after spending £373 on two items. I got in touch to ask about the process and they stated I could not return the jeans because they were on "sale" . Even though it does not state ANYWHERE on the receipt or even tags the product was on sale (attached). Additionally, they do not even mention this on their websites refunds and returns section.
I wanted to support a local/independent store who clearly have great buying expertise. However, they do not know anything about how to treat customers. My advice would be go direct

I’ve ordered a few summer bits online from peggs & son over the last month and their service has been fantastic. Any questions I’ve had over the phone or via social media have been answered promptly and honestly.
Plenty of delivery options with safe and secure packaging.
The videos they put together on Instagram are a nice touch too.
100% recommended and I’ll definitely be using them in the near future!
