Services
You will have already noticed that as part of the construction works it has been necessary to close off the Tatton Community Centre car park. All parents are now being asked to use the recreation ground entrances to access the community centre, and for any drop offs by car to be undertaken from Worthy Street.
At Tatton Nursery in Chorley, learning is about much more than simply imparting knowledge. Therefore we use modern teaching methods to suit the individual learning needs of our Children and to build teamwork and a sense of social responsibility. Our Nursery is well-equipped, enabling the use of different teaching styles. We believe that it's vital to provide individual support for every Child.
Tatton Nursery is more than just somewhere that teachers give lessons. We see ourselves as a facility where pupils learn for life. This allows our staff to be more than just highly qualified experts in their different subject areas. Their educational expertise and personal commitment make significant contributions to fostering our culture of mutual respect and cooperation.
There is an allocated accessible parking space within the community centre car park which can be used by a nursery parent if needed. The toilets are just off the nursery room with a separate room for changing facilities and disabled toilet. The room is organised into different areas of learning, there are signs and symbols throughout the room.

I would absolutely recommend this nursery to anybody. My 2 children have both been and always had smiles on their faces when they were going in and when they were leaving. This speaks volumes!
The staff are second to none. Kind, caring, attentive and fun!!!

Emily has been attending Tatton Nursery since October 2019. After looking around a few nurseries, this was the only one where Emily felt comfortable enough to just go off and join in straight away...we didn't pick this nursery, Emily did. it definitely shows Emily has a fabulous judge of character. Tatton Nursery is not just a nursery, its a second… family. The staff treat the children like their own and the difference in Emily's development over the last couple of years has been amazing! if we have more children in the future we will definitely be enrolling them here, no matter where we

It’s the boys last day today after a wonderful 2 years. The boys have come on so well and what makes it better is the Love, Care and Effort that Marsha , Sandra and Hannah put into each and every child. It’s been like a second family. I couldn’t of asked for a better nursery and start for my boys xx thank you xx

Such a fantastic nursery. Three of my children have attended this nursery now. My youngest is there at the minute. I can't speak highly enough about the nursery staff, they are just amazing at seeing every childs unique individuality. Helping them grow independently and supporting them through the insecurities of being left and away from parents. We moved out of the area 3 years ago but I still travel here so my son can come to Tatton and have the same nurturing experience my other children have had here.

Great nursery! My son started a couple of weeks ago, he was apprehensive at 1st but the staff reasssured me he would be fine, they even text me pictures of him playing happily, which put me at ease, then up on collection he didn't want to leave. The nursery is fully equipped with everything a child needs to learn and play! Overall, lovely staff and nice nursery setting!

Excellent nursery, both my children have attended here and loved every single minute. The staff are so warm and friendly always greeting you with a smile. Nothing is too much of an ask, they are always willing to help. My children have learned so much and progressed more than i thought possible. i would definitely recommend this nursery 100%
