Hamilton Bikes is a small business specialising in the sale of reconditioned bicycles of all sizes, new cycles from Raleigh UK, Diamondback and own design lightweight cycles for commuters and leisure cyclists.

I strongly believe that bikes which are used mainly on road or light trails should be appropriate for such use, therefore I always supply adult bikes with semi slick tyres as standard, and avoid suspension systems - this makes for faster easier cycling on roads and light trails.Currently I am developing a range of low cost emphatically lightweight custom design alloy / carbon bikes for road and off road use.

Custom Leisure /commuter / Light Alloy Bikes Report

Almost all customers for adult bikes are buying bicycles for fitness purposes or for commuting and will not be using them for true off road cycling. Run of the mill mountain bikes are not ideal for such use - they are often heavy and have high levels of rolling resistence due to the wide knobbly off road tyres.

Upgrade Your Bike Report

Most cyclists use ordinary mountain bikes with off road tyres but never use their bikes in true off road conditions. I know from experience of commuting on such bikes that a few simple modifications, as follows, will greatly enhance performance. These tyres transform the ease of pedalling and have furthur advantages in lower weight and longer tread wear.

Great service!! my bike needed new gear cassette, chain and derailer cable adjusted. All done in less than 2 HOURS . Hamilton Bikes is much better than halfords, halfords wasted over 2 WEEKS of my time via abroad india call centre then was told in hamilton at halfords my first appointment was a 30 minutes safety check then i was to take bike away bring it back again for repair date,,which is a bad joke as a double appointment is unacceptable as usage for bikes has gone up due to pandemic and im too busy!

Malcolm was friendly and knowledgeable, going the extra mile to accommodate me and repair a tricky dropper post cable, ensuring the work was neat and tidied up. Glad I travelled the 15 miles here as my closest local bike shop instead of the 5 miles to Halfords

Great value cycle repairs and advice.

Also stock refurbished bikes.

Needs a sign on the door and out on the main road, as it is difficult to find.

I totaly recomment Hamilton Bikes!
