At Illingworth Ingham Hyde we offer a wide range of stock planed all round (PAR) Redwood Timber. We stock both Vth Redwood Timber and unsorted. This is a raw timber material which has been planed to a smooth finish on all four sides with sharp corners used for internal joinery use. Planed all round (PAR) timber is a natural product that will have natural character throughout expect some Knots, Splits and Shakes.

At Illingworth Ingham Hyde we carry extensive stocks of Whitewood timber including sawn, planed all round (PAR), tongue & groove (T&G) and tanalised timbers. This is a raw timber material which has been planed to a smooth finish on all four sides with sharp corners used for internal Joinery use. Planed All Round Timber is a natural product that will have natural character throughout expect some Knots, Splits and Shakes.

At Illingworth Ingham Hyde we carry a wide range of sawn Timber Carcassing including kiln dried, structurally graded and regularised. Sawn Timber carcassing is commonly used in structural applications including roof and floor joists, stud partitioning and general joinery. We specialise in metre lengths and can offer a cut to size service on all our stock lengths.

As timber specialists we carry a wide range of premium quality sheet materials including Exterior Hardwood Plywood, Sterlingboard, OSB, Plywood, Melamine Chipboard in a range of finishes, MDF sheets and Veneered MDF. We have a wide range of MDF sheet sizes & types to order, including fire resistant and exterior.

When selecting a cladding timber it's important to choose one that is naturally resistant to decay so Western Red Cedar, Siberian Larch and Thermowood are all popular choices.They offer a great deal of protection if installed correctly and are well maintained, lasting a lifetime and more. Vertical Grain Hemlock, Clear Douglas Fir, Redwood and Whitewood can also be used for cladding but will require proper, adequate treatment.
