Prosteel is a high quality welding and fabrication company that specialises in all types of pipework and coded welding. We work with stainless steel, carbon steel, duplex & aluminum, as well as all plastics and installing specialist PTFE lined pipe systems.

Services
We can can take on all projects, from emergency repairs through to plant installation, with our appointed person of control of lifting (cranes) telehandlers forklifts. We have the capabilities to weld in all processes to BS EN 287-288, as well as 9606 & ASME IX. We have a wealth of weld procedures to cover most jobs, and our fully qualified welders are top tradesmen.
We are set up to do on site fabrications. We have three mobile containers which have a complete workshop pre-installed, or we can work in an area that you allocate to us and we can fabricate from there.
We have mobile saws and cutting booths, along with the most up to date eco arcgens and digital kemppis, making on site working fast and efficient, We are used to permit to works, and can supply labour on a daywork basis to do maintenance on your site if required.We have a fleet of vehicles covering all areas of the equipment we need to transport and install on-site to handle any and all jobs.

Prosteel uses Autocad plant 3D design software, allowing us to design pipework and complete process plants. As an example, we have used this to design a skid unit, giving the client a visual picture of the item we are going to fabricate. We can design tube plates and tanks, along with pipework & pumps, providing you a fully installed package.
With a colour screen giving hundreds of weld parameters, perfect welds can be obtained time after time with printouts to prove perfect welds for welders logs. We have a dedicated van which is set up, with orbital equipment. We own an orbitialium 165 as well as a centaur set, both complete with full pipe purging equipment, oxygen meter and butt log printer.
We work with 2 contractors that assist us: A local insulation contractor who can heat trace and insulate our pipework to your standards and finish, and a local builder who completes ground works for us. So if you have a leaky pipe we can find the leak with tracer gas or sound, then excavate the pipe, repair the pipe and test, and once tested we can back fill and compact the ground and restore as original.
