Established over forty seven years ago, is a family business owned and managed by the second generation of the founders of the company. Employees number in excess of one hundred people and the company operates from modern computerised offices and central warehousing situated on a three acre site at the prestigious Whitebirk Industrial Estate, Blackburn Close to the national motorway network.
The company sell and distribute nationally a wide range of specialist products to the building and allied trades. Deliveries are made by our own fleet of vans and a specialist carrier to all areas, on a forty eight hour basis. The range of products are designed and produced by many of the worlds leading manufacturers to comply with British Standard Specifications and the requirements of building regulations.

Do not recommend purchasing from this company. I had to chase my parcel ringing almost everyday as i was told the items would be here, then they weren't their "express delivery" takes way over a working week. I got no apology from anyone until i finally got through to a person called Nicola, who sorted the situation for me. I wouldn't use the services again.

Cheap prices. Misleading website. Delivery quoted as 48 hours but can be up to a week depending on when you order. They only deliver using their own vans and to certain areas at different times of the week. ultimately if you need your items within a reasonable amount of time buy elsewhere. The 48 hours quoted on website and order confirmation email is a lie. Just had all the above confirmed by members of staff.

I have used R&J on a few occasions now and have been happy every time. On one occasion I wasn't in and missed a delivery, a quick call to the very friendly customer service team and the driver went out of his way to re-deliver the same day, really saved the day as the plasterer was due the next morning. Have recommended to all my friends.
