Services
The Specials Menu at Blinis Caf Bar is regularly updated to give a wide choice for lunches, tasty snacks and desserts. Please ask us for options if you have any special dietary requirements. Where possible, our chefs try to source and use local seasonal produce (even our coffee is roasted in Devon!).
Blinis Caf Bar is owned and run by the Hook family who also run the adjacent Royal York & Faulkner Hotel. Inspiration for the name 'Blinis' came from the traditional little Russian pancake made from buckwheat. A speciality of the caf-bar menu, its origins can be traced back to ancient times, when blinis were made for a sun festival called the 'Maslenitsa', which was held the week before Lent.
