It seems strange to us that this isn't more widely spoken about but, looking after your employee's eyecare is a duty that is widely forgotten by employers. My first visit to JB, what a wonderful experience. Customer service is fabulous.
Went there after being recommended by my best friend. I thought it would be like any other
Optician appointment but how wrong was I. It was like visiting family with an eye test thrown in.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I feel safe in their hands.

The service at JBs really is second to none. I’ve been coming here for all of my optical needs for more than 20 years now and wouldn’t entertain going anywhere else. They’re a lovely family run practice and always greet me and my husband like we are part of the family. Their range of frames that they have is unbeatable - top quality, top class and top style. Maria and Daniel were as wonderful as always today helping us both choose new sunglasses - because summer will be here before we know it!! I visited Jonathon Bryan to have a browse given I'd just lost my glasses. However as soon as I stepped in the door, I knew this was the place I'd ultimately purchase a pair (or two!). Dan helped me to choose a few pairs, paying attention to my likes/dislikes and ultimately giving his professional opinion on what would suit me. The best experience ever when getting glasses. I normally take forever choosing frames to suit me, these guys know exactly what suits your face and their service is fantastic..professional but with humour too. Yes I think you can pay more for the lenses but wow, you always feel a million dollars when you walk out! Thank-you to Annie who looked after me with my new Chanel frames which I would never have considered and also to Daniel> Cant wait for it to open and I can get some long awaited prescription sunglasses.

Best Opticians in Chester !! Have been a customer for over 10 years and would not go anywhere else to buy my glasses. The customer service is second to non. Although it might be a couple of years between visits you feel like you are meeting up with old friends. On my first visit Daniel said he would pick out 5 frames that would suit me and guaranteed I choose one and he was right. His skill in knowing what frames match the shape and colouring of your face and fit your prescription is amazing. This week I broke a lens and needed new ones fast. They pulled out all the stops and got my new thin lenses

Without doubt, this is the best opticians I've ever been to. All the staffs are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and they know what fits and looks good on you. I could be a difficult customer but Dan was very patient and happily answered all my questions and requests. Theyve got great customer service and great products. I love my new sunglasses and totally recommend this place to anyone who's looking for an opticians in town!!

After nearly 15 years of continued service, covering three generations of our family, it is an honour to say that Jonathon Bryan are, by far, the best opticians we have ever encountered.
All of the staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable - they all know their product range and will find that special pair of glasses for you. Their guidance and after-care support service is second to none.
We happily travel more than an hour, each time a visit is required.

I have been shopping at Jonathon Bryan opticians for several years and each time, they absolutely nail the customer experience. All of the staff have a keen eye for detail as well as being on hand to really help you select the frame that actually suits your face! I wish I was able to write a better review than this for Jonathan Bryan Opticians. In short, they are fabulous. The shop is the most quintessentially English of opticians shops you will ever find- from the moment you walk in and hear the silver bell tinkle at the door, you feel like you've entered on to the stage of a beautiful theatre set - lovely old fashioned furnishings housing the most modern and seductive frames ever, to stained glass windows echoing the beautiful cathedral outside.
