Coastal Kippford is one of the most beautiful holiday parks in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland. It is located by the lovely seaside village of Kippford on the Solway Firth, often referred to as Scotland's Riviera Coast. Open all year, Coastal Kippford allows you to get away whenever you want.

It is the perfect holiday location for those looking for a place of pure tranquillity who wish to avoid noisier resort locations, yet offers a wealth of activities on your doorstep to keep the whole family entertained. The Park has been owned and developed by different generations of the Aston family for over 50 years and we are very proud of our David Bellamy Gold Award which we've held for 20 years.
Services
Coastal Kippford is a family run business. Owners, Gail and Robin Aston, are second generation owners of the park, Robin's parents having started the development in the late 1960's. The family aim is to create a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing holiday environment that appeals to those who appreciate a place of pure tranquillity and wish to avoid noisier resort locations.
At Coastal Kippford we have a range of holiday homes for sale - lodges and caravans - from leading manufacturers such as Willerby, Victory, ABI and Swift. All our holiday homes for sale are available to view 7 days a week from 9.00am to 5.00pm. We go to great lengths to ensure that every holiday home is beautifully located and landscaped around.
Our Park is open all year which means you can enjoy all four seasons and unlimited holidays throughout the year! Our Holiday Home Insurance scheme provider is Arthur J Gallagher Insurance Brokers Limited. We chose Gallagher because their specialist team has over 300 years of combined experience and are adept at developing insurance packages to make sure you get comprehensive cover at a competitive price.
Have you ever dreamed of owning a holiday lodge or caravan by the beautiful Scottish coast but don't know where to start or the questions to ask? Well our first time buyer's guide is just what you need. At Coastal Kippford we will guide you through the whole process, with no hard selling!

Firstly, we will tell you about the Park (which is different from many other parks) as we want to make sure it provides the right environment for you; open all year, a place of pure tranquillity that is beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. We'll explain about pitch fees and all other costs so there will be no surprises!
Coastal Kippford is located approximately 55 miles from Carlisle and 95 miles from Edinburgh and Glasgow. It is an ideal base from which to explore Scotland and the North of England. With 200 miles of stunning coastline, rolling hills and beautiful forests, there is no better place to escape to.

A serviced plot on which you can build your own two storey lodge within a small private development set in a horseshoe formation around a small loch with lovely landscaping. The plot is the last of ten! The development is a short stroll from Kippford village - one of the most picturesque in the area with its waterside street of pretty granite and whitewashed fisherman's houses.

We had a touring caravan on a seasonal pitch here this summer and loved it so much we bought a static caravan instead, moved into it in October. Beautiful site, friendly and helpful staff, definitely my happy place

Coastal Kippford holiday park is for those who want to chill out. Not the run of the mill variety. No entertainment, only two play areas for the children...one for the older kids and a separate one for younger kids. There is no onsite shop which means a 6 mile trip to Dalbeattie if you want a newspaper or provisions. However being in the park is like being in a forrest retreat. As you walk round the park don't be surprised to see a rabbit or two cross your path. If you bring your dog there is a forrest walk specially for them. If it a peaceful , relaxing holiday surrounded by nature this is for

Excellent park. Spacious, clean and exceptionally quiet. Lots of walks/trails, and 5 mins from two nice pubs down Kippford. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely park, very quiet. Nice walks.. my only criticism is the jubilee walk to kippford, it’s signposted so far then you have to make your own way. My sense of direction isn’t the best I admit but I got very lost coming home.

Beautiful site …we hired a fantastic lodge which was immaculate, spacious and so well equipped.
The site itself is beautiful so peaceful and has stunning scenery. Special praise to the two lovely ladies working on reception. After a car disaster meaning our car had to go to be repaired and was still in the garage when we had to check out meaning we had no where to put a car full of luggage, I asked if there was anywhere we could store our things. They were most obliging locking it away for us in a spare office space and coming to our rescue. Brilliant customer service, thank you.

Excellent park. Quiet and peaceful. Homes aren't all just lined up in a row. A lot of thought has gone into placement which gives the whole park a random and unique feel. Most of it is on the side of a hill which adds to the character of the place.
