It's not a holiday park tho is it it's more like a retirement village as all caravans are owned 2 wigwams at the side of a very busy road so noisy so no sleep! kids not allowed to go near where the caravans are asthe owners of the caravans complain kids not allowed on bikes walk or anything near all if the owned caravans so small stretch of road to play natural cause of wigwams or the small stretch of grass in front of the wigwams where you are watched from caravans behind constantly on arrival told not to make noise as they had had a hen party the night before that was nothing to do with us and

A nice, friendly site.
Very peaceful.
The showers although a little dated, are really powerful.
There's a kitchen area for cleaning dishes and a plug for charging devices if needed.
The tent area is nice, with a great view, but next to a river, so make sure you're well prepared for the wee beastie's.
(Smidge/netting)
(I saw some amazing Red Kite (birds of prey) flying around.) 😍
There's a local village shop a few minutes walk if you turn left out of the site, or there's Thornhill a couple of miles away if you turn right out of the site. It has a co-op, boots and some places to eat etc
