Services
We offer a friendly, professional and efficient service and aim to build a long-term working relationship with our clients. Each of these headings encompasses a large range of legal issues we can help with. Our clients comprise private individuals and their families, small business owners and larger companies.
Our fees for acting for you in the sale or purchase of your property are set out in the tables below, based on the value of the transaction. The base fees as stated are subject to any additional instructions you give us and the additional fees shown below. Unregistered land - this means land that has not been registered at the Land Registry.
We will meet with you to discuss your requirements before writing to you with a draft Will for your approval. We will then meet with you again to sign the top copy of your agreed Will or, if it is more convenient for you, send it to you with instructions regarding signing. We will store your original Will free of charge and send you a copy for your records.
We offer a free, no obligation, initial appointment with one of our lawyers to discuss the estate of someone who has passed away. We can advise on the way forward regarding the estate, as it may not be necessary for a Grant of Probate to be obtained, depending on the individual circumstances.

If the deceased died without having a Will they are intestate in which case it may be necessary to obtain Letters of Administration rather than a Grant of Probate. The amount of time it takes to administer an estate depends on many variables. As our fees are based on the amount of time it takes to wind-up an estate it is very difficult to set out what our exact fees are likely to be.
When relationships break down it can be a very stressful and difficult time. If you need some advice about the way forward please contact one of our lawyers. Estimates for our fees for acting regarding various aspects of a breakdown in family life are set out below and are based on our hourly rate of 225 plus VAT.

We were very pleased with the service and support we received from the team at Loddon. A lovely local but professional practice on our doorstep. Would highly recommend for family law, conveyancing and much more. Thank you to Vicky and all the team, it was a pleasure doing business. All done with a big smile and good humour.
