Our normal opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (excluding public bank holidays). Our main switchboards are also open between 9am to 5pm and connect to an answerphone at other times. Emergency numbers are given out of hours. All three of our office branches are open to clients and visitors for in-person appointments.
Our Business & Commercial team provides effective and pragmatic commercial advice to businesses of all types and sizes, from innovative start ups to established FTSE 250 companies. Too often businesses view legal advice as a necessary cost to be incurred, but something they would prefer to avoid if possible.
Our Commercial Property team has experience in acting for a broad client base of developers, professional landlords and lenders in a wide variety of matters including, the sale and purchase of commercial property, the grant and renewal of leases, landlord and tenant advice, property developments and commercial funding.

I had an issue with a previous solicitor whereby I needed to instruct new representation to file a claim on my behalf. I made one phone call to Fosters, was put in touch with Chris Turner, arranged one meeting followed by two further phone calls and three emails and the issue was resolved to my satisfaction expediently. The whole process took a total of four weeks. I was impressed by the level of service, advice and empathy shown with my situation. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris to anyone, in fact I would go as far to say, you would be foolish not to use Chris. Thank you for sorting three

Horrendous experience. My buyer is using this firm as a conveyancer. We are 5 months into the transaction and the only delays are caused by this firm. It’s still not complete even though everyone is desperate to get it done. They ignore calls and emails from solicitors and estate agents, do not reply and are about to cause their client’s purchase to fall through. If they can’t do the work they shouldn’t have committed to it. Completely irresponsible and no human concern for the people’s lives they are messing around with. DO NOT USE!!!

Josh was excellent and helped steer us through the purchase of another business, ensuring that all the agreements in place were fair to both parties. Our experience of solicitors in the past has been one of them trying so hard to only consider our interests that they ending up souring a deal and creating problems rather than solving them. Very happy with the conveyancing service that we received from Fosters for both the sale and purchase during a very busy time for the industry, getting us ready for exchange ahead of the stamp duty deadline. The whole conveyancing process was pretty quick and efficient. Communication was a little slow on a few occasions, but on the whole, really pleased with the quality of the service. The team were always super polite and clear in their communication. I understand that during the COVID pandemic solicitors should be given some slack, as they are under pressure to completed within the stamp duty holiday, so have bigger work loads. Would definitely use them again!!
