A varied diet is available for all pets according to their dietary needs. We ask all of our customers to fill out a diet sheet upon arrival, this helps us to know and understand their eating habits. All our boarders are fed on good quality well known brand foods. All food and drinking vessels are served in stainless steel dishes as these can be washed at a very high temperature, enhancing our standards of hygiene.
Our vets will liaise with your own vets if necessary, should your pet become ill while in our care a veterinary surgeon will be consulted. Services
Woodfarm Kennels and Cattery started as a family run business in 1978, originally inspired by Mary McCourt's parents, who have bred dogs for many years. With over 30 years experience, Woodfarm like to think that they have learned from any mistakes and from their customers (two and four legged), what they really want.
Your cat will enjoy spacious individual cat cabins that are heated during the winter months. Access to all cabins is via an escape proof passageway. There are ten large family cabins with inter-connecting doors, ideal for separation during feeding times, ensuring that all get their own food. All cabins have a raised sleeping area, scratching post, climbing frame and a small armchair for your cats to lounge about in.
All dogs have their own individual spacious indoor living quarters, with a large outdoor run allowing your dog come in and out as they please. The layout of the kennel blocks has been designed to make sure that no dog looks out of its kennel onto another dog, a feature that helps to create a calm environment for your pets.

Woodfarm Kennels and Cattery is situated in Sedgley, 10 minutes drive from Wolverhampton, Stourbridge and Dudley, yet set in beautiful countryside. Woodfarm Kennels and Cattery has been licensed by South Staffordshire District Council for the last 30 years. All dogs and cats must be fully vaccinated, certificates should be produced on arrival, we also request that all pets be wormed and treated for fleas regularly, prior to dropping off.

Peggy, a stray seven year cat, adopted us fifteen months ago. She was very timid and wary of people. Although she is still a little fearful of humans, she appreciates the comforts of an indoor life style and a large garden for exploring.
When we go away we use Wood Farm Kennels and Cattery. We have housed Peggy on three occasions, in the last five months.
Given her background, we were very nervous and worried about how another change would effect her rehabilitation, but she always seems settled,well groomed and calm when we collect her. The carers are friendly, considerate and show Peggy a great

Been going here for a few years now. But this year my two dogs mille and Annie have gone more this year. The staff are so lovely my dogs are excited to go and see them. Would recommend wood farm kennels to any one. I have got my mother and brother to use them now and they have even said way better then their last kennels. My dogs come out clean unlike previous kennels where they are dusty and smell. Couldn't rate wood farm kennels another. Thank you

We dropped our cat and dog here for a couple of nights last week while we were away. Staff were very thorough asking questions about each pets feeding habits and dietary requirements. Also made a full inventory of items each animal took with them. Evie and Hugo both came home very happy and contented after their stay and we look forward to booking them in again next year while we are on holiday. The team are lovely and you can tell they love what they do.

Collected my dogs from woodfarm kennels today after leaving them for 3 days - i was very apprehensive about leaving them in kennels as i have never had to before but i can honestly say i didn't need to worry at all as they were really well looked after, when 2 of them wouldn't eat, they hand fed them and my older girl (who is on medication) hasn't been a problem. They weighed them when we left them so they could keep check on their weight and their attention to detail was fantastic. Staff all seemed really friendly - so if you are thinking of leaving your fur baby with them, then do not hesitate

They have had bad reviews recently on face book personally I think it's a load of tosh! Been using wood farm for six years it is always busy and all the staff are fantastic my dog is well looked after and is loved by the staff. She is well cared for and I will continue to use wood farm in the future as dog owners we all hate leaving our beloved pets but I go away knowing she will be loved and cared for and in an emergency I will be called and kept up to date. I would recommend that people use wood farm I had done a lot of research before we chose wood farm and couldn't be happier book my dogs next

Have to speak as I find and I have used these kennels 3 times now for my Border Collie from when she was a puppy.
Have never had a problem. Was shown around when I called in and asked if I could see the conditions.
Always found the staff pleasant and honest and the price is confirmed before I leave.
You can pay up front or on collection and I've never had any issues.
My dog is incredibly nervous and can be volatile when approached but these people have always treated her well.
I will be using them again make no doubts about it.

A lovely holiday home for your dog when you are going away. It is very obvious how well they take care of your beloved pet. The first time I left our dog here I saw another dog being collected which was whining and pulling back because it didn't want to leave... much like a child who has had a great time somewhere and doesn't want to go home. The second time I left our dog here he got really excited as I was dropping him off. He went off with his tail wagging wildly and didn't look back at me as he was led away. Very reasonably priced. They match exactly your dog's diet right down to brand choice
