Madeley Testing Station is the largest independent MOT test centre in Telford, Shropshire. Our rates start from just 28.00 for a motorcycle MOT and go up from this dependant on vehicle class. Our MOT test centre is Telford's largest and was 'purpose-built' to support over 60+ Cars & Vans every day from it's 4x dedicated Car & Van (Class 4 & Class 7) MOT ramps with professionally trained, seasoned technicians.
This Interim Service is especially useful for high mileage vehicles to maintain the car, van or bike etc and reduce unforeseen and possible breakdown risks. At Madeley Testing Station (MTS) we cover all type of servicing - Major Service, Full Service and Interim for Cars & Vans. Servicing extends the life of your vehicle by replacing components that have an 'operating-life' and require replacing at regular intervals.
Car Air Conditioning can create and maintain a comfortable driving environment inside a vehicle. To do this it transfers heat from inside a vehicle to the outside keeping the temperature low inside. The system the cools, dries and cleans the air to return into the car. However, Air Conditioning units/systems require regular maintenance as they begin to lose their cooling (refrigerant) abilities which can leak through old joints in components.
As we're sure you know, the purpose of a braking system is to slow/stop your vehicle. It is important therefore that for your safety you ensure that your braking system is maintained. If you are experiencing any unusual noises, vibrations, or 'pulling' of the vehicle when braking should be investigated immediately here at MTS.
One of the most important items of a vehicle's engine is it's cambelt, this item in simple terms, keeps the valves in-time with the pistons when your engine is running. As you can imagine, when these valves and pistons are rotating at incredible speeds it is paramount that timing is 'exact' and this is why belts are so important.

Rang MTS as left it too late to book my mot in at the garage I normally use. They fitted me in the next day which was brilliant. Got the job done quickly, very reasonably priced. Very professional and friendly. Car passed with only a couple of advisories. Very honest and trustworthy garage. I will be using these in the future for everything my car needs as is just up the road from me, so more convenient and I'm very please with the service provided. Thank you 😊

1. They failed the Exhaust emissions even though every other car is spitting flames and they pass flying colours.. They then said my Exhaust is leaking but there are ZERO leaks as this was checked prior and after this outcome.. and my engine is inoperative too
2. They said my windscreen is defective due to a sunstrip.. there is no sunstrip
3. Head lamps aimed too low apparently.. the beam is horizontal 🧐
4. Driver's airbag supposedly missing.. it's blatantly not
5. They decide to keep your car with no communication which has caused issues getting to work too. Brilliant all round

I have yet to find an honest MOT station in Telford and sadly Madeley Testing Station is yet another on that list. My car passed last year but 12 months later and only 6000 miles Madeley managed to find approx £2000 worth of repairs. At £38 they are also quite expensive. Customer service is non excistent and the overall feeling is that they are there just there to make money from MOT failures. Most parts that fail have to be excessively worn but Madeley fail on anything that they find which would probably pass with an advisory at a more fairer station. This guy’s don’t have no clue What are they doing They charged me £1,752 to fix my van and they have put the wrong sensors in my van and didn’t replace the right one I’ve send it back and they asked for another £300 to replace the right one useless absolutely useless I would heavily recommend you not to go there.
No did not popped the vehicle four months later I popped the vehicle straight way after I’ve done less then five miles same week you got one of your workers to check it and he told me not to worry Is the pdf it will go away after a few miles if not he said bring back the vehicle
