Easiest and most pleasurable MOT I’ve ever had.
My MOT was cancelled by another garage at the last minute due to the snow, and they didn’t have a slot for me for over a week. Called Burntwood MOT centre and they fitted me in, no problem- giving me a choice of times.
Turned up, with a small child, planning for an uncomfortable wait- but the waiting room was brilliant. Better equipped than my living room at home- lots of toys for the child, comfy sofas, entertainment, nice and toasty warm plus a drinks machine. Test took under an hour and I was a little disappointed to leave.

Quoted £500 for MOT Repairs, and told I needed a tyre. I said I was putting new wheels on the Van, and ideally I could do without paying £90 for a tyre that I wouldn't be using for long, and was informed they would look to put the spare on.

Took my car here for an MOT on Friday morning, he called me early afternoon to tell me it was fine and had passed and they were just checking it over.
I then get a call to say they need parts for my exhaust and I need a new washer pump. The repair was going to be in the £400-£500 remit, I would need to pay for the parts in advance and then wait 14 days for them to come in. He then proceeded to charge me £60 for the car to go on diagnostics and did not inform me of this cost first.
I took the car to get a second opinion today as something did not sit right, the garage cleaned the washer

Highly recommended! Not my usual MOT station, however after todays experience it may just well be. Couldnt have asked for a better service!! After having work done at another garage prior to my MOT the guys here soon brought to my attention i had been left in danger, a very silly error that they soon rectified for me to ensure me and my children were safe. My partner called the garage yesterday and ask if they could have a quick look over my car as it was making a funny noise. They said to take it in this morning as they will have a quick look over and see it they can see anything while I waited. I arrived this morning at 9.45 and they said they didn't know if they would have time due to the ramp already being used. The man went off to speak to someone else who said its was fine and he would have a look. Top place, took the car in for diagnostics and it needed a new turbo, exhaust and alternator pulley. Price quoted was cheaper than I expected and much cheaper than another garage I've used before. I also added a gearbox oil change aswell as them tidying up a few niggles under the car whilst they were doing it!

I have used this company a few times as it is walking distance to my work. One of the chaps as always been abrupt but this time when the car went in for over a week he was rude. I rang every other day to see if the part arrived and was told in no uncertain terms that I should save my 10 pences and wait until he had something to tell me then followed with The part will be in tomorrow. When I went to collect car and pay for the repairs the car wouldn’t start. I waited 3/4 of an hour for them to suit it out. Not surprising the car wouldn’t start a few hours later.
