Happylands Private Day Nursery
Happylands Private Day Nursery, Warndon Villages, Worcester is a privately owned nursery situated in the community square next to the Lyppard Grange Community Centre, in a purpose built nursery building. Emily has recently taken on the responsibility of office manager. Sammy joined us at the tender age of 16 in Sept 2010 as our very first apprentice.

She achieved her level 2 in 2012 and level 3 in 2013,h as completed her foundation degree in Early Years in 2020 and is continuing to study to achieve a BA (hons) degree. Elle joined us in the Summer of 2020 after completing her level 3 in children's play, learning and development. Rosie now is a member of our bank staff to allow her more time with her son Noah.
Services
Our Cubs are cared for in a welcoming and cosy room. The group is small and intimate, allowing the youngest children to get a gentle introduction to nursery life. As well as free play, the children can explore a variety of areas including a sensory space, interactive number and colour displays, home corner, a story area and a mark making table.
Stay and play is a bi-weekly session (term time only) for under 2's and their parents or guardians to come and spend some time with us and join in some fun activities from 9.30 till 10.45am. If you are trying to get a feel for the nursery to help with your choice of care setting for your return to work, this is a great way to get to know us better.
Our toddlers are a busy bunch called the Tiggers, keen to find out everything they can about the world. We offer them lots of opportunities to develop their independence and lots of new, fun experiences. We introduce the children to circle time where we say hello and talk about our feelings, days of the week and our activities for the day.
Our preschoolers are known as the Tigers. An important part of your child's day is learning through play; each day is planned to give all children enjoyable and challenging experiences such as number games, role play, exploring their own ideas, sharing stories and singing. We spend 50% of our day outside with free flow between the garden and our potting shed allowing easy access between indoors and outdoors.
There is a 12.5% discount for a full-time child and a 12.5% sibling discount (only one discount is applied). If your child is eligible for two year old funding it will begin from the term after their second birthday (you will be informed by Worcester County Council if you are entitled to this funding).

Its a very friendly nursery, who love the children they look after. There is so much for the kids to do and my daughter is always asking me if she can go to nursery on her off days.

I can not thank happylands Enough for what they have done for me and my son. My son Brody’s is disabled he’s non-verbal and undergoing diagnosis for autism he has global development delay and sensory processing disorder. All the staff have gone Above and beyond to help my son. They have learned to sign to my son to communicate. They are very patient with trying to understand the way that he communicates. They always giving me support and helping in helping my son to understand the world around him. My son started going to this nursery at 2 years 4 months months old and leaving at 4 years and

This nursery was recommended to me and now I would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. Choosing childcare is a huge decision but my little boy settled instantly and has thrived with the Cubs team. He genuinely loves going to nursery and I really appreciate the time, care and patience the staff show; encouraging him to reach his milestones and have lots of fun doing so.

Happylands is amazing. They have been great throughout COVID-19 and have been amazing with our little boy and kept us informed everyday. They have managed to help him eat, encouraged his walking and just been so good with him. I would highly recommend the nursery.

Our Son George has been attending Happylands nursery since the beginning of September he was 9mths, the development he has gained in that short space is amazing. When we arrive the smile of George's face says it all, Emma and Zoi are incredible! Plus all the other staff. They use an app to keep you updated with their progress and send you lovely photos. I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery and we are super happy we chose Happylands. Thank you all so much.

We moved our 19mo daughter here at the beginning of August and I am really happy we did. The staff are friendly, kind and caring, and we really appreciate the good communication about how she is getting on, as well as the nursery's organisation over information and admin, which has been a lot clearer and easier than at her previous setting. Thank you again.
