Services
At Butterflies Pre-school and Priory Kid's Club we offer fun and educational provision for children within the Hull area. We believe childhood is all about having fun, developing social skills and building upon experiences. We at the pre-school recognise the need to set reasonable and appropriate limits to help manage the behaviour of the children in our care.
The purpose of this admissions policy is to establish how the setting will register children into the setting. It is our intention to make our pre-school genuinely accessible to all children and families from all sections of the local community. Ensure the existence of the pre-school is widely known in all local communities.
The Butterflies Pre-school and Priory kids Club promotes a healthy lifestyle and a high standard of hygiene in its day to day work with children and adults. All meals and snacks provided will be nutritious and pay due attention to children's particular dietary requirements. When cooking with the children as an activity, the adults will provide healthy wholesome food, promoting and extending the children's understanding of a healthy diet.
We recognise the need to set reasonable and appropriate limits to help manage the behaviour of children in their care. The person in charge of Behaviour Management is Jo Atkinson, who has attended additional training and liaised with other agencies to support this role. We aim to provide a happy and well managed environment to enable children to develop social, emotional and communication skills which will lead to self-regulation.
