Why are Taylors considered to be one of the nation's better butchers? We set ourselves the very highest standards in those three areas. We only deal with local farmers and producers that have the same commitment to animal welfare. Our locally sourced produce is matured and prepared to ensure maximum tenderness, taste and consistency.
Throughout everything our customers remain our primary focus to ensure that we never disappoint them. Here at Taylors of Sale we are often running weekly offers on a wide variety of our products. The easiest way to stay in touch, and ensure you don't miss out, is to hop over to our Facebook page.

Services
All our beef cattle are reared by Ian and Linda Booth who farm on the Duchy of Lancaster estate in Cheshire. Frank has known Ian for the past 12 years and they share a common passion for animal welfare. It is this very passion that ensures you, the customer, only purchase beef that we are all proud of.
Because it is locally reared we can be certain of its provenance, so important today when food is flown around the world by most of the major supermarkets. You can be sure that the beef you buy has had the shortest possible journey from Ian's pastures to your plate. Ian rears it, we prepare it, you cook it and your family eats it.
We are particularly pleased to have been able to source free-range pigs, which is not the same as outdoor reared pigs the supermarkets are trying to portray as free-range. Outdoor reared pigs are certainly born outside but, after weaning, spend virtually the rest of their lives inside, in pens, being intensively fattened and not seeing the light of day again.
The British Banger is one of the nation's most popular foods with over 90 per cent of households buying them regularly. To help meet local demand we make in the region of half-a-million sausages each year and that number is steadily rising as we introduce new ranges and as a result of our very popular annual Taylor's Sausage Week, when for every 1lb bought we give away 1lb absolutely free.
All our bacon is dry-cured, unlike the vast majority of supermarket bacon that is pump-injected with water which is then released from the bacon when fried or grilled and appears as a white residue on the bacon and in the pan. This practice inflates the price and deflates the quality. With the exception of dry-cured-back bacon the pork used in our all our cured products is exclusively free-range from Packington Farm.

Absolutely wonderful range of meats, and I actually bought more than I intended!
Beautifully presented and wrapped with name of item and use by date.
Delicious little marrow bone for my dog.
Safe distancing observed. Great friendly and helpful staff. Their prices were very competitive. This was my first visit.
I would thoroughly recommend Taylor’s of Sale.

Best sausages ever! My parents received their delivery yesterday and did an early morning drive-by delivery this morning with mine. Delivery service is great, well organised and fabulous for my parents who aren’t currently able to come to the shop. Many thanks a solid 10/10. I recommend you to everyone 😊

This is a top notch village butchery with top notch customer service so it won't surprise you to hear its top notch prices. So ya pays yer money and makes yer choice.
Give me this place over any supermarket butchery counter any day of the week. Just because it's a supermarket doesn't mean it's cheaper, not where quality meat is concerned and we need to think on about supporting these community places as they are part of the fabric of villages like this.
The quality and the selection of local meat is superb, whether it's their great shop made proper pork & beef

A fantastic butchers, top quality meat and superb service.
You won't find cheap meat here, but that's because it's all about the quality, if you're looking for "economy" meat, please go for a cheaper cut or not at all!
Parking can be a bit problematic in Sale Moor and be prepared to queue, especially on Saturday mornings and in the run run up to xmas.

Without a doubt the best Butcher I have ever come across. The first tell-tale sign is that there is a always a queue to get in, even though just 100 yards away is a cheaper butcher.
It's not the cheapest, but in every way it is pure quality - The butchersare so friendly and really know their stuff, and i swear they would even know the animals name if asked. This is how we used to shop before the supermarkets and it's easy to see why. Fantastic. It's a warm, friendly, superb independent butcher and makes shopping a pleasure.

For far too long I've been buying meat from supermarkets, due to convenience and cheaper pricing. Had it not been for my folks back in the Dale converting to shopping at their local butchers and me tasting the difference in quality, I'd have carried on regardless.
Now living in Sale I'd been informed of Taylors by a couple of friends so left the chicken and red meat off my 'big shop list' and headed into Sale Moor one Saturday afternoon.
Parking in the free car park down Warrener Street, it's just a short walk round the corner. It was full of customers inside but

It's not the cheapest butcher in town but boy it's quality stuff. The meat looks as healthy as you ever seen, you can order online and get delivered or pick up when you want (even 24 hours in advance).
However, like many local butchers, it's not easy to park around. If you know what you want and you're gonna be quick (not peak time on Sat morning) I'd use the delivery space across the road.

Taylors is a great, independent butchers in Sale Moor Village. The prices are very competitive compared to supermarkets and the quality is far better. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they will cut the meat any way you prefer for example into chunks for a stir fry or butter-flying your chicken breasts. Saves you time at home and means you get perfect results rather then my variable attempts at neat cutting myself!
The range of items includes not only the traditional meat cuts you would expect but some excellent meal options including meatballs in tomato sauce, beef stir fry, mini beef roasts

This has been a family run business since 1850, and Taylor's & Son has the most coveted reputation that any family run business should aspire to! There is often a queue outside just on a Saturday, but come the days leading up to Christmas it takes on Biblical proportions... and is a sight to behold. They are Q Guild Butchers which means they they would rather become vegetarian than see Larry the lamb treated unethically!
All the meat is from local farms and is free range quality produce. I personally adore the taste and texture of the "Full Monty" sausages, and marry them with
