A Father and daughter team, we specialise in the sales, service and repairs to all leading brands of domestic & industrial sewing machines. We offer a new shopping experience all with easy parking directly outside the front door. We are Kent's largest supplier of all your sewing, quilting, overlocker and embroidery needs.
We have a team of specialist engineers and we offer free estimates on the spot on any machine brought into our head office at (Unit 1, Sabre Court, Gillingham Business Park, Valentine Cl, Gillingham ME8 0RW). An engineer will greet you and take a look at the machine while you wait.

All the staff here are friendly and very helpfull.
I had a problem with the unit of my Brother Sewing /Embroidery Machine. I rang the shop told them my problem and they asked if I could bring it in, which I did. I spoke to Tony explained what was wrong, he took the unit to one of his engineers and when he brought it back it was fixed while I waited. Thank you Tony very much. (I went home a very happy person).

I saw the juki mo 654de listed as in stock on their website and called to make sure this was the case as I wanted to try it in person and bring it home to use asap.
Holly confirmed it was the last one they had and advised I come immediately as she didn't know if they could get anymore. I explained I would be coming from NW London via public transport- she assured me it was worth it and a lovely machine.
3 hours of tube, train, a taxi and £50 lighter I arrive in Gillingham and it's not in stock- apparently she'd looked at the same page showing stock as I had -not thinking to do a physical check

I was so happy with the service I received from Holly when I called in. I called in because i was have issues with my machine threading and the bobbin as it was not picking up so i was unable to sew. She advised me to change the needle, I followed her instructions and by my surprise my machine was working. I was so happy. Thank you so much Holly.

My sewing machine died this morning. It was a 'Joy's' machine I bought on line quite cheaply, 8 years ago. I was hoping it could be repaired, but not very confident. I looked on line and I think I am the only person this machine worked for! After a nice chat on the phone with Tony, I took my machine into the shop, where a friendly, knowledgeable young woman had a look. RIP machine.
I explained what I needed in a sewing machine and my budget and she matched me to a lovely, quiet Janome machine. They service and repair all makes. Tony even carried my new machine down Deptford High Street to my car

Fantastic service, definitely worth the treck to Deptford for me! I took in my faulty sewing machine after one more local repairer didn't want to touch it at all and another tried to fix it twice, only for the fault to come back within less than half an hour of use each time. I was then told it might be time for a new machine... Such a contrast here: Tony opened a side panel on the machine, got a screwdriver out and had it sorted within a few minutes. I used my machine all weekend, and it's going strong, everything solid. So impressed, so grateful!

I cannot recommend Lewisham & Deptford Sewing Machines Limited highly enough. They were super helpful, a really quick turnaround, the cheapest in London (and I got quite a few quotes!) and most professional. Really quick and great contact, they kept me updated during the repair and very just overall good eggs.
