Very good but prices very confusing 2nd visit where price at till different to what thought. Items in baskets have prices on (often various for same articles) but altogether in basket marked up with 1 price on outside indicating special offer told at till that people move them about otherwise good selection and service.

Went there as my father in law (57) lives in Hitchin and wanted to have a go at bowls. I am 34. Called them up and they put me in touch with one of their coaches. Very friendly guy and knew his stuff. Had a great teaching style (His name was Dave) Ask for him if you want a great coach. So cheap to play. It was £8 for 2 hours for the both of us. That included the lane, coaching and borrowing the bowls. Great facilities there too, very clean and smart. Food and drink there with plenty of seating Would highly recommend for anyone of any age.
