Firthfield Pet Store is a traditionally owned and family run Pet Shop founded in 1962. The business recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary in the Northwich Town Centre 2012, the same year as the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and as London hosted the Olympics and Paralympics. As an approachable and friendly business, we value both our loyal and new customers alike, as we are fully aware that their pets' are vitally important to them.

The personal-service is exceptionally reflected in our Trimming and Grooming Service which is carried out in-house by our Professional Trimmer and Groomer, where dogs are finished to the highest possible standards.

The Firthfield name came from Davenham where Joseph Thomas Egerton lived with his wife Ellen Egerton previous to moving to Whatcroft Rudheath near Northwich, where he opened the Kennels. This is where he started to breed toy breeds of dogs to the highest possible show standards. Today, these engrained values are still evident within our business.
In 1993 Burns Pet Nutrition Limited was founded and my range of premium quality Real Food for Pets was launched. As the name implies, Burns Real Food for Dogs, Cats and Rabbits are just that; simple foods which are intended to allow the body to function naturally. All of my pet foods are made from the highest quality ingredients and without any pharmacologically active supplements.

Thy really know their pets! Catnip mouse that they recommended had been tested and approved by their own resident cat. It’s the only one that has withstood the mauling that our cat gives his play mice. Normally they last 5mins. This one is still going strong several months later. Would definitely recommend for real product validation.

A wonderful store with amazing staff and well cared for animals. We lost our hamster a few days ago and we looked for places to help fill our empty void in the household. We went in mind for just one but came out with two baby Dwarf Hamsters. The staff are really friendly, very knowledgeable in food, health and general well-being of animals. Their prices are a lot cheaper than pets at home. Will be coming here again for our supplies. Thank you Jono, Nic, Carrot & Swede
