Services
All rooms have a welcome tray with the usual beverages, kettle, bottled mineral water, bowl of sweets, hair drier, 20 freeview flat-screen television with built in DVD player, and digital radio. All are en-suite, with excellent showers but no baths. Good quality toilets, wash hand basins, nice fluffy bath and hand towels, and a bath mat, along with all of the usual soaps and accessories are provided for your use.
The fishing village of Lochinver is the largest township in the Parish of Assynt. Set amongst some of the finest scenery in the country, the village just about encircles the whole bay.
Historically, and before the advent of the motor car, most things needed for human survival in this remote land, were delivered by boat, so the harbour here was always of some considerable significance to the people of Lochinver, and to all the parishioners living in the surrounding hamlets, and hinterland of Assynt.
