We had a lovely week's stay in a self catering cottage at Doles Ash Farm. The cottage itself was perfect and the amenities on the farm are fantastic. The swimming pool was a big hit, as were the animals and general scenery.
Doles ash is in a lovely rural location but still well connected for day trips to explore the surrounding areas.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive in any way and this all added up for a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
Covid precautions are sensible and well-thought out and we all felt safe and secure without it impacting our enjoyment at

We live in the area and walk around the public footpaths around the outskirts of the Farm. The views around are to die for. There are plenty of tracks to be followed, deer, birds of prey and other wildlife to be seen and as much fresh air as you can breathe in. The Farm itself sits down in a sheltered dip, the buildings are typically of the region and the whole area is always looking very well maintained. It's a lovely place to visit.

Great group of holiday cottages for families. The pool, games room, field and tennis court were a real winner with our 11 and 14 year olds. Though the main attraction seemed to be the pigmy goats and Alpacas! Plenty of local places to visit and walks from the door. Cerne Abbas is a particularly pretty village with walks up to the Giant. Abbot's Tearoom provided tasty sandwiches and baking.

It is a beautiful place to spend a relaxing holiday with amazing views and lots of places to walk. Isn't to far from the sea. There is a village where you can go for a nice meal about a 5-10 minute drive. Has a lovely pool, games room with toys and games for all ages, tennis courts, badminton pitch and a big feild for playing on.
