Fairfax Gallery
The Fairfax Gallery offers a relaxed environment to view and purchase a high standard of original contemporary art. Our galleries offer the security of a long-established and successful exhibition programme. The Original Fairfax Gallery was founded in 1995 in the historic Pantiles, Royal Tunbridge Wells.

Our success led to a second gallery opening in Burnham Market in 2001. Both galleries hold a large stock of contemporary paintings and sculpture, examples of which can be viewed on this website. We offer visitors a warm welcome at our galleries and on our website.

Lovely place for a wander and a cream tea. Quite a few tea rooms etc to choose from dependant in your price range.
Unfortunately it rained the day we were there but the band played on :)
We will go back on a sunny day and sit outside to listen to the band playing from the bandstand in the middle of the square. Very quaint indeed.

Unfortunately some of the original pantiles were being removed when we visited here so there was a bit of an upheaval but still a very nice area and includes the old corn hall, the spa and the infamous Pink Alley all set away from the busy high street!

Great local landmark, full of history. A trip to Tunbridge Wells isnt complete without visiting the pantiles. really lovely to sit on the wall and have a drink on a summer evening or one of the many bars and restaurants for lunch.

The Fairfax Gallery on the Pantiles is a real find. Set in one of the towns architectural gems, the fine collection of paintings and sculpture on show inside are even more of a treat. It’s very much worth a visit. I’ll be back for certain.

The Fairfax Gallery is a complete gem tucked away
on the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells. The work is interesting and varied, not too
much in the same vein and frequently added to. Includes
figurative sculpture, naïve style still life, abstraction, portraiture, prints,
city scenes and everything not so easily categorised in between. The
director is knowledgeable and helpful, understanding that a piece needs to work
in the space you have in mind. Though some artists are well established with
various accolades behind them, the gallery is also good at supporting emerging talent, Justin Weeks and Mary
