Art Cafe is North Norfolk's only vegetarian restaurant, gallery and licensed cafe. A place to buy beautiful creations, enjoy award winning coffee from our own Grey Seal Roastery next door, indulge in delicious vegetarian and vegan food and cakes from our onsite bakery and relax in delightful surroundings.
With a sunny courtyard for summer and a cosy wood-burning stove for the cold Norfolk winters, Art Cafe is an all year round destination for foodies, coffee and nature lovers, walkers and arty types. Glaven Valley just two miles from Holt and Blakeney on the coast. We are surrounded by some amazing countryside and Norfolk hills (yes, they really do exist), which are perfect for walks and wildlife spotting.

My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch yesterday. Very impressive building and atmosphere. Food was absolutely delicious and it was clear that very high quality, fresh ingredients were used. Unfortunately, we were left standing at the til for a few mins while the waitress and barista chatted (no other customers around) to the point where we almost felt we were invisible! Once she noticed we were standing right in front of her, the service was great! :-)

What a wonderful little place! A very relaxed little coffee shop, with a small but very appetising menu of light lunches and breakfasts. The coffee is simply superb, high grade artisan roasts with a wide selection of beans. We had a fantastic hummus and pita platter, cakes and drinks. We were delighted that we stopped. The staff were both really very nice, first-class customer service, knowledgeable and easy going. I wish I lived nearby as this would be my go-to coffee spot!

Saturday afternoon hazelnut mocha brownie with a fruit scone, homemade black currant jam and clotted cream - jam was full of flavour and whole fruit.
Coffee smelt and looked great but I don't drink it. Shame they don't sell Matcha tea or turmeric lattes.
Bought a loaf of locally-baked charcoal sourdough which was delicious toasted with butter.
Don't see any mention of locally-grown organic ingredients.
Going back soon for lunch...
