Services
This well established form of treatment can be used to treat many physical conditions, including back and neck injuries, athritis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, sports injuries etc. We can also offer rehabilitation for neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, strokes and head injuries.
Classes teaching simple exercises, stretches and meditation techniques. Qi gong is an ancient Chinese system of self-treatment based on the idea that the body is formed of both physical and energetic (qi) aspects. The exercises help to rebalance the body on both levels and to connect with the energy of nature and the world on a wider scale.
Open to practitioners qualified in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and shiatsu these 5 day courses offer an intensive practical training in this versatile ancient massage which is such a useful addition to practice. In China it is normally taught with acupuncture, somehow in the west the two have become separated to the detriment of both.
Granary Herbs first came into being in 1991: 'If you love herbal remedies as much as we do you have come to the right place'. Sourced from a variety of Chinese herbal companies we stock Red Flower Oil, Woodlock Oil, Tiger Balm and Herbal Plaster to ease joint and muscle pains. Believes that everyone should benefit from what the earth provides.
Alltfechan Barn offers a wonderful antidote to the madness of everyday life. There is time unwind, walk across fields and hills, discuss and practice on a deeper level, while enjoying beautiful scenery and simple local food.

The Barn is set high on a hillside rooted in the ancient and modern landscape; the valley is dotted with busy working farms, age old drove routes wind along the ridges, while high points are marked with standing stones and hill forts.Join me, Rosey Grandage and two of my favourite and highly skilled colleagues: Sandra Hill and Ann Bradford, in Wales for a week of study, practice, discussion and sharing.

Rosey is fab! She takes a completely holistic approach, getting to the root of a client's issue or illness by looking at every person as a whole.

I've been doing twice weekly stretch classes online with Rosey Grandage since the start of lockdown and they have been of immense value to me. I used to wake up in pain in my hips and/or pelvis most mornings, but my muscles are now greatly strengthened and pain is rare. I'm slowly achieving much greater flexibility and strength in my knees, feet and shoulders. I can't recommend these classes highly enough.

I have really enjoyed practicing Qi Gong with Rosie over the last few months. I must say that I really notice the benefits after each class - feeling stronger, more grounded and calm. She explains and demonstrates the exercises very clearly. I particularly appreciate how she adapts and changes the movements according to the changing seasons. I definitely recommend!

I am seeing Rosey regularly, 2 or 3 times per month, since February 2018, and I am very happy with the treatment I receive from her. I have seen many physiotherapists in the last 30 years, but Rosey is the first one who has really been helping, I barely have back pains nowdays, and I feel like a normal person again thanks to her care, treatments and advices. I can only recommend her services.

I attend Zoom classes given by Rosey for stretching, fitness, and Qi Gong. They are all excellent, and leave me feeling better in body and mind. I have yet to follow any of Rosey's sessions on YouTube, but look forward to doing so now, in the second lockdown, in depressing early winter, especially as many are set in beautiful surroundings in early summer.

I have attended Apothecary for a number of years: As a patient of Rosey Grandage, also to practice Qi Gong during her weekly Friday classes. I have found her understanding of Chinese and Western medicine combined with her skill as a physiotherapist invaluable.
