Services
Danebridge Medical Practice offers a wide ranges of facilities to a very high standard. We have two branch surgeries providing a local service for patients in Sandiway and Kingsmead. Our practice philosophy is to work together as a team to promote health as well as treating illness, and we believe that as a practice we offer a comprehensive, extensive medical service to our patients.
Danebridge Medical Centre is accessible to those who have access requirements. There is designated blue badge parking adjacent to the main doors, step free routes into and throughout the ground floor of the building, accessible toilet facilities and an induction loop is available at Reception. We continually strive to improve our facilities embracing an 'access for all' ethos and 'accessibility' is always an integral aspect of any changes made.
The Patient Participation Group (PPG) continue to work with the Practice for the Practice. The PPG is a committee of voluntary patients who supports the work of the practice. The committee meet monthly along with practice representatives to discuss matters arising and to discuss ongoing suggested improvements within the practice.
The Cheshire Care Record is a collaboration between all GP, hospital, community, mental health and social care services provided across Cheshire. If you have already told your GP that you don't want your health data to be shared, you may wish to reconsider and ask your GP to share your data locally so that a Cheshire Care Record can be created for you.
As a Practice we all try hard to provide the best possible service for our patients with the resources available. If you are dissatisfied with any of our services, please speak to the Patient Services Manager in the first instance. If you are dissatisfied with the response, please put your complaint in writing, addressed to Dr Fiona McGregor-Smith, Executive Partner, or Amanda Skelding-Jones, Business Manager.

I wouldn't even give a star. I honestly cannot even believe how cold, rude, and downright unhelpful the staff were. They had absolutely no time of day to listen to me regarding booking a medical and then fully contradicted themselves while I asked for more information. As well as the woman raising her voice at me voice at me in front of a queue of people. They had zero time to provide any information. Don't waste your time. They actually told me to go elsewhere and I am more than happy to. Absolute Joke.

After being refused any type of appointment to see or get a telephone call from a doctor in the near future I wouldn't recommend this surgery.
Receptionist told me unless it's an emergency the doctors aren't taking any appointments and to ring back next year
No wonder NHS hospitals are getting hammered if local doctors are refusing to see or speak to patients

I have nothing but praise for this practice. Every member of staff that I have come into contact with are so friendly. Today I went for a DVLA-mandated medical with Dr Gilchrist. She was extremely thorough and professional. I had initially had a medical with a third party doctor but it was quite rushed and turned out to be inadequate. If you have a complex medical history I highly recommend going to your GP in the first place. It may cost more than a third party specialist but they will have access to your medical records.

Impossible to get an appointment.
The unhelpful reception staff simply advise you to call back each morning at 8:30 to try to arrange an appointment, but if they are booked up by the time you get through (which usually takes 30 minutes), then they simply ask you try again tomorrow.
I am on day 6 of trying for an appointment now - still no joy.
Dreadful service, bad attitude and absolutely no help to the public.

Have to agree with many of the reviewers, counter staff distant, come across as rude, seem incompetent, hiding behind their bullet proof glass, and when their are few/no doctors or patients present how is the car park always full? Surely it can't all be staff cars?one positive comment....nurse who saw me was very pleasant

Waited an hour for a doctor after having to call and wait 14 places in a caller queue. Once I was with the doctor I felt rushed out without a resolution of my issue.

I will never use this pharmacy again. Not only are their prices for standard non OTC items are extortionate but there are certain (not all - most are polite) pharmacists that are, in my opinion, rude and arrogant. When I order my repeat prescription they promise to send a text message to say my items are ready to collect. For months I have had to contact them as I don’t receive any notifications. The last straw for me was a prescription ordered on the 9th august which I collected on the 31st of August! Luckily I had been in hospital with a serious illness and they gave me my prescription otherwise

Just moved to this practice as new to the area. Was nervous as I'd been with my previous surgery for years, I needn't have worried. The whole process has been seamless and the staff and GP's are very helpful and professional.
