Services
Our governors are committed to supporting the centre in order to provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our children. They understand the centre and its individual needs, meeting regularly to ensure that we continue to provide excellence. They meet once every term to discuss nursery and other issues.
We are a Local Authority Nursery school which is situated in the main building. There are three nursery rooms each lead by a teacher, a Senior, Lead and Early Years practitioners. Our bilingual assistant works in all three rooms. There are no differences between the classrooms and children remain in one room throughout their time in nursery.
Through our practice we aim to prove a broad and balanced curriculum based on the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). Our children access the seven areas of learning using play as a vehicle. We provide early intervention for those children who require additional support or a more challenging curriculum.
We pride ourselves in providing high quality childcare and education. We are committed to keeping your child/ren safe, secure and happy during their time with us. We aim to provide a variety of play activities and resources in pleasant surroundings, both indoors and outdoors that will be planned around your children's interests.
This is a monthly session and is provided jointly by the Outreach Team and the 0-19 Health Service. The session provides information, support and guidance around introducing solid foods with your baby, as well as how to care for tiny teeth. Speak to a member of staff for more information. Let's get creative!
