Services
NDFA Training was founded in 2006, primarily we were set up to deliver First Aid training courses. Coming from a pre-Hospital and primary Care background we decided to pass on our know-how and experience to those needing First Aid training. Our courses are taught in a relaxed environment helping to put learners at ease.
This is a recognised 3 day First Aid at Work (FAW) course which is suitable for anyone who has been nominated or who has been volunteered to fulfil the statuary duty of care as laid down in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (NI) 1982 (as amended). If the assessment of First Aid needs highlights the need for qualified First Aiders, then this course will provide suitable trained personnel.
This course gives those the skills to meet this requirement. Over time First Aid competence may decline over the 3 years and if those skills are not used regularly there may be a need for periodic training annually. This is a short update course lasting a couple of hours, those who wish to attend this course should have an in date First Aid at Work / Emergency First Aid at Work certificate from an approved provider to attend this course.
NDFA Training offer a wide range of First Aid Courses, these can be bespoke or Regulated depending on what you require. We offer on site training or you can come on one of our open to the public courses, we run open courses every month so generally our courses can suit your requirements.

This course has been developed for those who are working with children or babies. It will be of particular importance to teachers, child minders, crche assistants, playgroup Personnel and anyone responsible for youth organisations we recommend the 12 hour or 2 day Paediatric first aid course. This course gives the Learner the necessary knowledge to arrange equipment and call for the Emergency Services when required.

Completed Emergency First Aid at Work which was delivered by Warren. What a fantastic session, Warren was very thorough and made the practical activities so much fun. The day just flew by, Warren made each topic interesting and explained scenarios in such an understandable way. Thanks NDFA Training and thanks Warren for a great day of training.

Did the First Aid in Sports today with Warren, which was highly enjoyable, informative & beneficial! Warren is an amazing teacher who added humour & character to the course.
