The Yew Tree Inn is a countryside pub focused on serving great food, fantastic ales and wines in a casual yet elegant setting. We focus on using seasonal, local produce to be a true Lancashire food pub. We welcome all visitors, including the 4 pawed variety and are very dog friendly in our bar area.
Our restaurant menu features a variety of seasonal dishes; with all our food being made in-house from breads to ice cream and desserts. We endeavour to cater for everyone and have dedicated menus for those following vegan or non gluten containing diets.

Really nice venue. Open log burners/fires, excellent views of rivington and the surrounding area, combined with screened off outdoor seating. Couple of points... I'd recommend booking a table in advance as it can get extremely busy if the weather is nice. Also, although there is a car park, there are no real designated bays, so at times it can be a bit of a free for all, but this shouldn't deter you.
The food and service are exceptional and I look forward to returning in the near future.

This place oozes amazing 🤩
The food is to die for - it’s bursting with flavour, made fresh to order. I cannot recommend any higher the fillet steak - next level quality on the cut of meat and cooked perfectly.
It’s then topped off with 10/10 great customer service. And the final cherry on the cake which makes it an all round all star choice is- it’s dog friendly!!! Xx

Very cozy country pub/restaurant. Whilst it still has a bar this is primarily a restaurant. Food looks good but I didn't eat so can't comment. Just there for a post country walk drink. A space was found for our 5 person group with the stipulation we only stay 30 minutes. Clearly more interested in diners than drinkers. Two Black Edge brewery beers plus usual lagers. Convivial atmosphere, reasonably friendly staff. On this Sunday it was the typical Sunday lunch clientele.

Lucky discovery Four hungry people accompanied by two adorable dachshunds turned up as darkness fell on a gloomy late autumn afternoon. We were well received and boy were we happy. The food was universally… excellent, banishing a couple of utterances of the great British maxim “Ooh, looks a bit dear” and replacing them with purring appreciation. It’s not cheap and it shouldn’t be. Nor is it at all expensive. It’s just good.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
