The Kliktronic gear change system (electric shifter or quick shifter) is best described as an 'electronic foot'. Designed to accommodate riders with a disability preventing changing gear with the foot, the Kliktronic push-button gear change is the ideal solution for everyone. It's suitable for virtually any kind of riding, whether you are looking for a fast change for racing or track days, or comfort and convenience when cruising.
Following in the footsteps of the Kliktronic electrics system, this exciting new innovation is the perfect solution for motorcycle riders who are unable to use their right foot for rear brake operation. The neat modular design of the K-Lever2 enables independent operation of both front and rear brakes using just one hand.
Every Kliktronic installation has to be approached as a completely different exercise; however, there are certain guidelines which must be observed if the unit is to operate effectively. When choosing a location for the Kliktronic unit, it has to be borne in mind that the unit should not impede the rider's foot.
The actuator unit is the key system component. It connects to the gear linkage, effectively replacing your foot for both up and down shifts. The unit is extremely powerful and robust; there is only one moving part for absolute reliability. This unit has been developed to cope with the most demanding gearboxes including Harley Davidson and Moto Guzzi.
Over the past couple of years, there has been a proliferation of bike engined cars appearing in the marketplace. Most are available either in kit form or ready built with a variety of engine options, from Blade to 'Busa. One thing is for sure, these kit cars are really exciting machines. Nothing can match their power to weight ratio - 150+hp into 350kg definitely goes!
