Three Hills Coffee Roastery
Three hills coffee are a small, dedicated team of coffee professionals on a mission to spread the word about good coffee, train and encourage best practice, and ultimately improve the standard of coffee that you drink. We roast a range of coffees at our dedicated roastery in the Scottish Borders to supply both our wholesale customers and mail order to your home.

We also have a coffee shop which is a hub for the local community, our demo space, and we currently run training there on state of the art machinery. In 2021 we are expanding to build a new state of the art roastery and training centre because both our current roastery and shop are too small. Many people drink coffee every day, some of us quite a bit more than that.
Services
All of our coffees below are available to order online but please bear in mind that we don't keep much stock and all or part of your order may have to be roasted before we can send it so it's always best to order before you run out. The post goes out about twice a week by Royal Mail and they normally get to UK destinations within a day or two.
We took a long time deciding on a manufacturer to work with and couldn't be happier with Sanremo, their machines are known for reliability and stability and the company is famous for their research and innovation. They have a great range from basic, entry level equipment right up to state of the art stuff with features that baristas dream of.
We have been supplying beans to Borders businesses since 2016 and we pride ourselves on getting the very freshest beans to you each week. Before we take on a new customer we will visit your premises and advise on how to get the best results from your setup, including refresher training for staff if necessary.
The best coffee in the world will taste terrible if it is not made correctly. Espresso extraction involves high pressure, high temperature, and short times so it is very easy to get wrong. Alongside our wholesale and equipment supply, the third and possibly most important factor is staff training. We can train your staff from scratch, deliver some broad refresher training or concentrate on a specific area like latte art.
The coffee shop is on the high street in Selkirk and the roastery is close by in one of the old mill buildings, you are welcome at any time in the shop but roastery visits are by appointment only, otherwise we would get no work done at all. If you would like to discuss something specific please get in touch and let us know you are coming so we can make sure someone is available to speak to you.
