I have just stayed here over new year. It was such a nice and relaxful place to be and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Davina was super helpful and checked up on me via email which I appreciated.
The Shepard hut was super clean and warm, I packed things to keep me warm just in case but was not needed at all. You had everything you needed in the hut, although I couldn't work the right hob, it kept turning off but as I was by myself it wasn't much of a problem.
The only 2 things I think could be improved is
1) the curtains didn't cover the windows well which did make me uncomfortable at times because

I've stayed at high end resorts and very basic, tent only campsites. There are very few places that make you feel as instantly relaxed and peaceful as this.
We've stayed in both the family and Fowler huts and they're wonderfully unique and very comfortable.
Also, the hills are very nearby and scenery and walks are fantastic.
We'll definitely come back, again and again.

A lovely glamping experience and the perfect place to get away with my partner. We stayed in the luxury shepherds hut and it was warm and cosy and we loved the log fire - lovely and warm in the winter. The pub round the corner served some tasty food, too! We're already excited to return in the summer!!
