Nancarrow is a working farm, weddings and events venue, nestled in an idyllic hidden valley near Truro, Cornwall. A bumpy track, lined with old oak trees and ancient Cornish hedgerows, leads guests through 100 acres of rolling pasture and sheltered meadows to our family farmhouse; the heart of the farm.
Our events venue offers guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in these beautiful surroundings, and experience the hospitality of a working organic farm. Our family have reared traditional breed cattle and sheep at Nancarrow for nearly 250 years. Since throwing our barn doors open to the public in 2014, our organic produce is now reared, butchered, aged, cooked and consumed on the farm.

Services
As well as tapping into the expertise of various members of the family, we have gathered a team of energetic, enthusiastic professionals, who are pivotal to the success of our little farm. Every day is different here at Nancarrow; whether it involves welcoming a wedding party or corporate conference delegates, tending to the animals or kitchen garden, sharing ideas over lunch at the staff table, or scouring the hedgerows for wild ingredients.
We've lovingly renovated several large barns located in the old farmyard. Our Grade II Listed mill house, the old piggeries and a former chicken shed now offer ten farmhouse style, luxury en-suite bedrooms and a large private dining room. We've also added two Shepherds Huts and an extra double bedroom, meaning we can now accommodate up to 26 adults on-site.
For generations, family, friends, and farm workers have eaten together around the Nancarrow kitchen table. Wholesome, home-produced and home-cooked dishes at the centre, everyone welcome, shoulder to shoulder; and always plenty to go around. We've now moved out of the farmhouse and into our newly converted professional kitchen, but the sentiments remain the same - memorable food, to be shared and enjoyed, right in the heart of the farm.
Our vision is to create a totally unique place to feast, a memorable, collaborative eating experience with our farm's produce at the heart. We're looking to add to our existing Front of House team to help us deliver our calendar of events for 2021. Flexible shifts available, a good rate of pay and a great setting to work in!
We are delighted to be able to offer a small number of bedrooms and shepherd's huts which are available to book for one night's stay. Available from 3pm on the day of arrival to 10.30am the following day with a table for two at the early (5.30pm) or late (8pm) sitting for the Supper on the evening of stay is included (no need to book separately).

Nancarrow hosted our wedding and we can't fault it. From impeccable planning by the lovely Eavan and her team, to the beautiful location and unbelievable food! It was the perfect venue and our guests were blown away by all of it. Can't thank the staff at Nancarrow enough for everything they did and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Looking forward to going back for a feast soon!

Oh. My. Goodness!
Absolutely everything I wanted it to be! So lucky to be able to celebrate with friends of ours on their big day! All other wedding food just got blown out of the water!
The setting is gorgeous, the staff were wonderful and shall I just mention the food again... in fact has there ever been a more perfect potato?

Here for a fabulous farm supper in the barn and wow what service, what flavours, textures and aromas. This is an amazing venue beautifully set in rural Cornwall. Great cooking, great produce, gorgeous settings in which to eat and drink and incredibly good hospitality. Loved every minute and will definitely be back

We had the most beautiful wedding at Nancarrow this June. Throughout date changes, pandemic struggles and family illness, nothing was too much trouble for Eavan and the team at Nancarrow. They promptly solved problems, answered questions and looked after us throughout the planning process, making it as stress free as wedding planning can be!
We chose the all in one package to completely enjoy what Nancarrow have to offer. The accommodation was insane! So beautiful and comfortable. It also meant we could enjoy more amazing food from the farm kitchens around the wedding.

Idyllic location and great food. We went for a Feast Lunch, which I'd thoroughly recommend. It is on the pricey side but you get what you pay for in terms of quality and taste (and nice views, and a bloke on guitar). The menu doesn't really cater for kids (well not our fussy ones) but they loved exploring the farm.
The fact that Highways England intend to build a road right through this idyllic and unspoiled bit of Cornwall is just beyond belief and disgusting. Good luck to Nancarrow and the team on fighting it.
