Pettycur Bay Caravan Park
To book a pitch for a touring caravan or tent, please arrive at or after 12noon on the first day you wish to stay. Generally we have spaces at most times during the year, with the exception of Easter and Bank Holidays when we are normally full. If arriving on these dates we would suggest that you contact us on the day of arrival to check for current availability and arrange to be at the park for around 12:00 as tourers are leaving the park!
Services
Pettycur Bay Holiday Park is a family-owned holiday complex situated between Burntisland and Kinghorn on the South coast of Fife in Scotland. Our unique location affords simply magical views across the Firth of Forth towards the City of Edinburgh.

Our three family owned parks: Pettycur Bay, Kinghorn Harbour and Leven Beach, are perfect centres for holiday-makers who wish to relax and enjoy a memorable break in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our parks overlook miles of golden sands, and the spectacular sea views and safe bathing make it an ideal holiday destination for the whole family.
We can arrange children's parties suitable for children three years and over in our Soft Play area; or Pool Parties in our swimming pool for those aged 10 and above. Each child gets a box of party food, and extras are available such as birthday cake, magicians, or refreshments for the adults! Our holiday park is situated right by the beach with acres of inviting sand for you to play on.
Yes we take a swipe of your credit card on arrival for security or a 50 cash deposit. It makes it faster and more convenient for you on checkout if you provide a credit card for pre-authorisation. Bookings will normally not be accepted where half or more of the party is aged between 17 and 25. If this is the case you must tell us when you book.
Our beautifully appointed Horizons Restaurant and Waterfront Lounge offer a range of dining experiences and menus to suit all tastes, relax and enjoy the stunning views over The Firth of Forth to Edinburgh and beyond. So, why not try our catering instead of self-catering and sit back and relax while our warm and welcoming staff take care of your every need?.
The Fife coast is famous for its picturesque fishing villages. To the east of Largo bay, discover the delightful villages of Earlsferry, Elie, St Monans, Pittenweem, Anstruther and Crail. Largo bay extends from Buckhaven and Methil in the west round to Kincraig Point in the east and overlooks the Firth of Forth.

We attended as members of the public for use of the swimming pool and sauna. I phoned in advance incase booking time was required however it wasn't. Nice smaller sized pool, plenty of little ones in with parents. If your looking to go swimming to get lengths in this isn't the pool for you however if you want to just float around and relax or take little ones this is ideal

Touring area needs serious maintenance. Pitches fairly short so not a lot to choose from for most modern 4-6 berth vans. Ours is 7.3m and that's not massive in this day and age. Most long ones are in the front row and require not only your steadies but also your jockey to be on 3-4 breeze blocks... Which you need to walk around the park finding and carry them back to your pitch. The toilet block was never mopped in our stay and going by all the marks, leafs and webs near the floor it hadn't for at least a week. Sinks had no hot water within the 6 minutes I tried... Although showers were hot. Paneling

Would have given zero stars if that was an option. Motorhome pitches are basically bits of old uneven tarmac with no hedging or privacy. Road noise is intrusive. Facilities are ancient. The Warden is a complete jobsworth. All this for £26 a night. Avoid at all costs.

Stayed once some years back and enjoyed it. Going to a wedding near there soon so I was looking for places to stay as the hotel was full for the dates we need. Didn't book as only require a one night stay but need to pay for 3 nights.

We had high hopes for our break here but were left disappointed. We were late being allowed in due to a ‘problem with the oven’ which clearly wasn’t resolved as the grill still didn’t work. The children’s room STUNK of urine. We reported this and a cleaner did come to scrub the floor (she was lovely) but we were then left with a room that smelt strongly of carpet cleaner for the rest of our trip (and still slightly of wee). We got a caravan directly behind the main building so no sea view (worst plot on the site?!) and the extractor fans from the swimming pool blast noisily 24/7 so we

Was visiting the other week as me and hubby are looking to buy a van and always loved going to burnt island as a kid and views from site r beautiful. Had heard a few bad things before about the way residents on site were treated but didn’t think any thing of it until witnessed first hand on our visit. Went into reception for information on buying a van and there was a man at reception raising his voice and being very rude and abrupt to two older ladies. They left and one was nearly in tears so I went out to see if she was okay, to my complete shock she told me it was actually the owner of the

Been here twice in a week to use the pool with my children and the toilet situation is actually horrific. The first time my daughter was really needing and the toilet was dirty with no loo roll so I went to the desk asked them to clean it then 3 guys standing there said yeh ok, went back 15 mins later and still nothing done at this point my… daughter was really needing so I had to get blue roll and clean the toilet my self so she could use it. The guy went in to put loo roll in after all this but didn’t clean?. There are 4 toilets there I don’t think it’s acceptable to

I spent two nights there and was treated badly I was told where to put my tent up and as a lady of 70 on my own it's not an easy task. Then to be told by the warden I was in wrong place as it wasn't safe he told me to move. I asked for half an hour but the warden and a caravaner would not wait and took my pegs out and dragged my tent across the road which made friction holes and a tear. The warden then put the caravaner where I was where it wasn't safe to be.
I complained and was told the warden was in the right and to claim on my travel insurance. I would recommend stay away. I only gave one
